Is there anyway I can request chat logs pertaining to a suspension for abusive chat? I make a lot of generalized statements about players from certain servers always failing the same mechanics during pug heroic raids. Just curious if those are the statements that’s being flagged.
I’m on request 2 (same ticket) currently and just keep getting the generic “against the tos” reply. I’m assuming my above paragraph is why, but I’d like to know specifics if possible. I won’t be acknowledging anyone that’s not a direct employee in this thread.
You used to be able to, and they want the system to provide this automatically, but there were technical issues with it (usually including the wrong text), and we don’t know the time table for fixing it. I do not know if a GM can provide the specific lines, but it’s worth a shot.
A blue poster can shed some light on stuff, but they’re not going to say things word for word - if it wasn’t allowed in game, then it wouldn’t be allowed on the forums.
This has dinged people in the past. Generalized or not, it’s still not permissible to discriminate against specific servers - or at least it’s not permissible to vocalize your discrimination. How you form your groups is your business, but as soon as you have it mentioned in chat or especially in your run listing, that will catch up to you pretty quickly.
Hate to tell you, but this is a player-to-player helpline. Not all the time will you get an answer from a blue. Either way, you can, and very obviously have gotten a suspension due to said generalizations. Meaning you know exactly what you did. You don’t need a blue answer to tell you.
