No, it actually didn’t. I know people love to believe that this sort of stuff is automated, but it’s not.
As has been stated many, many times by forum regulars and Blizzard employees alike, the only automated system is the squelch that gets applied when someone has been reported for chat violations in a short period of time by several players. There are absolutely zero automated suspensions or anything like that.
We really don’t need to turn every CS thread into general forum thread. Nothing anyone here will matter in regards to account actions and reports. More so when the blues here have no say on what is done, nor anyone can try to debate what is or isn’t against the rules.
Well yes it did, i participated in it multiple times. When we would happen it would be the only time they would be logged out over a 6-week span. I actually got in trouble for doing it, my 3 day suspension i mentioned in my previous post, and he was later found to be account sharing/botting and was suspended/banned. Yet never received an apology from blizzard
I even showed a Blue post saying that, he ignored it.
Well then they’re lying to you, ask any of the rank grinders on the Jomgabar server. Because we would do exactly that and it would work.
Guys we know better why make this more difficult for the blues then it needs to be apeal or not we dont need to go into this lengthy of a debate.
Are you admitting to abusing the report system?
darn cant post links here of this exact thing happening and a blue post saying the overturned the suspension because they automated system failed. Oh well guess ill just keeping telling these guys in general chat that the other layers cant see their chat
Well, you can call it abuse, blizzard did, and they punished me for it. But later banned the guy for the same thing we would be reporting him for. So I guess it’s subjective.
So how is that automated then? Mass reports on a guilty person will usually result in action being taken. That’s how it works, that’s not automation. And the fact his penalty came later proves that it’s not automation.
Sorry man, youre literally clueless and obviously here just to troll.
But ill spell it out for you, we would all report at the same time, and in that exact moment he would go offline for 3-4 hours. Post pictures of his account being suspended, complain, gloat about how hes not losing sleep, and laugh more when he got unbanned because a gm sees “they” were playing. Lol
Same thing happened to my account, and I definitely was participating in battle grounds. I had this week off and pvped pretty much non stop on my DK, and Warrior until today when a bunch of us who were pvping together all got banned at the exact same time. There is no way it wasnt automated.
I’d believe a Blue before a player with an agenda. Why would a Blue lie about it? Players do tend to come here with misinformation and lies than anything else to cover their actions.
An account action that’s applied could be from days or even weeks ago. Again, as posted ad nauseum by Blue posters and forum regulars alike; there are absolutely zero automated suspensions. The only thing that’s automated is the squelch that’s applied when a player is reported for a chat violation many times in a short timespan.
yet there’s blue post admitting they overturned automated banns from mass reporting. Literally 1 google search away
Link it then…
Don’t let these trolls gaslight you. I boosted a char friday, did 90 AV’s over the weekend and got banned this morning. This isn’t over time, even if 1 person reported me every AV for not being level 70 thats 90 reports in a weekend, enough for an automated ban.
Its not from days or weeks ago. All of the pvp took place between Wednesday night and today. When 6 people go offline at the exact same time, and hundreds of posts pop up on reddit and here at the exact same time that screams automation. All of the people from my group literally didnt pvp until Wednesday night through today with zero non participation. So again. Not from any passed activity. We have streamed footage to prove we were always fully engaged in the BGs. Soooo yeah.
I cant but search for " Classic Scarab Lord Griefing - Mass Reporting Leads to Automated Ban" wowhead article
