Nope. Not even close. The specs you listed other than SV Hunter maintained their abilities and passives, as well as their primary roles. SV Hunter did not. Stop comparing apples to oranges.

Then the same two MSV supporters come in to instigate and tell them how foolish they are to even think of adding a fourth spec.
I seen post just talking about how they wish RSV could return without hurting MSV and same crowd comes by to tell them all to just move on and except it.
Can not just blame one side of the problem without addressing the other sides faults.

So wait, you get ultra hyper caps lock abusing defensive about how you ought to be allowed to state your own opinions, claiming that merely questioning your position is ‘harassment’ (what a joke). But if we go into threads to give our opinion about something, you call us ‘infantile children’? That’s some pretty blatant hypocrisy.
Irrelevant or not. He was still correct. Abusing caps lock is a surefire way to make people not respect your opinion.

Not surprising for people who like to play melee more than ranged… but those people have over a dozen melee DPS specs. We would just like back one of three ranged DPS that we lost.

SV is fun, its not going anywhere.
SV is alot of fun, just not the best of the 3 for raiding/m+ is all. And alot more complicated and engaging rather than being able to drool on your keyboard as BM and do competitive dps.

Hey look: another melee main…
Ranged SV was fun too. As it turns out, that doesn’t stop a spec from being deleted.
Even when it’s performing the best of the 3 people don’t play it. Guess it just isn’t that fun /shrug.
Notice how the immature response from melee lovers concerning SV is always to put down the ranged specs. This literally never earns you favours with other Hunters.

There are plenty of things that could contribute to that though, you can’t say it was survival changes like you have been.
I was one of those Hunter mains that changed in Legion, the reason? I wanted to try out Warlock and a melee character first. I ended up loving how great melee have been and stuck with it.
Hunters used to be the class for solo content and easy leveling/farming that was one of the reasons they where so popular. When combat became more fast paced and modern with all classes having heals and an easy time with all content and DH becoming the best farming class yeah many people who used Hunters for that are going to quit.
More people these days also play the spec that is doing the best for their class, or outright change classes even when they are not in top end content.
I do miss ranged survival but that’s mainly because they did elemental damage and where mobile like BM. MSV is really fun and the only reason I’m not playing it is because I’m more into MM. Once I get this character geared I will start on his MSV set.

Hunters are still one of, if not the best soloing class for the majority of content. While I have already acknowledged that the SV deletion wouldn’t be the sole cause behind the drop in Hunter players, it was the single largest change that took place in Legion, and it makes sense then that it would be the primary cause behind the single greatest drop in players. Again, Hunters lost far more players than every other class by a large margin. That can’t really be sufficiently explained away with reasoning that could apply to most if not all other classes.
