Survival is such a dead spec. Player count feels low

It would look more appropriate if Aspect of Eagle had that animation than shooting a bird.

Nope. Never understood peoples fascination with other players. You seem like the type though. Spoon fed your information and then regurgitate it anywhere you can.

Good for you. Nothing disgusts me more than the meta chasing twitch/youtube sycophants.

I wasn’t talking to you.

Not to be dismissive but i’ve never found any difficulties pugging as Surv, the only thing i get asked is to lust which most sv players play with Ferocity pets because we benefit from leech the most of the 3 hunters specs.

The only time i’ve ever experienced any hate on surv is from other hunters. Most people don’t even know survival exists and it is well understood that survival excels in mythics much more so than in raids.

whats hilarious though is last season i liked the look of priest armor so i decided to main shadow and they ended up being meta. this season i wanted to play a hunter and bm ends up being op. this is the first xpac i unintentionally ended up more or less chasing the meta and it feels weird. i was gonna go feral this season but my hunter who was like 10 ilvl lower than my druid was doing the same damage for 1/3 of the effort and all those bm hunters can defend it how ever they want but i went from idk what im doing since i never mained bm i just screwed around on it to im like top 8 in my raid and competing with people who actually know their spec where as my druid which i know feral really well i was doing just above tank dps and getting angry.

your really only ever going to get hate from other hunters and not other players. hunters would rather complain about survival than give it a chance

Yes the idea that Survival has low representation due to gatekeeping is urban myth. Most players don’t mind grouping with an SV Hunter. The fact is there just aren’t a lot of people that want to play it in the first place.

I’ve seen 0 “hate” playing SV since Legion. :dracthyr_shrug:

Any time you start a sentence this way you can guarantee whatever is coming after it is your opinion. Every. Single. Time.

Hilarious to me that you would think for one solitary second that I care. Hilarious.

Blizzard thinks what I said is true. Take it up with them.

not only is bepples unable to move on from a nearly 10 year old spec he also can’t move on from old forum posters :X

You’d THINK that some leggo Agi staff/polearm would be the orangey silver bullet. Monks have been hurting too, and Druids would like having something like that too. How many times have the plateys got leggos already?

So yeah, screw Agility completely(sit back down, Rogues).

How many times has Rogue been the leading Agility class?

So there it is.

We sure didn’t get threads like “Survival is such a dead spec. Player count feels low” when SV was ranged.

We can’t go that far back on the forums. It be interesting to see what others were posting about.

Oh that is 1000% wrong. During the time when RSV was a dumpster fire these forums were full of people talking about how dead SV was. Especially once they announced what they were doing with it going into Legion. Do you just say things and hope no one notices you are just point blank lying?

What, in the last tier of its existence? When they nerfed it to hell a month before Legion was announced? You want to pretend that’s representative of ranged SV?

MM and BM are both ranged right now and get weird threads made about them. This is a complete nonsense take and you know that.

People in that WotLK, Cata, MoP era talked about SV the same way people talked about BM right now. There was occasional complaining about performance but no one ever considered the spec to be “dead” or in any way existentially flawed. That all comes later.

Here’s an example from a time when they probably already decided to make SV melee:

This is a complete non-sequitur. You’re trying to imply that when SV was ranged there was never any garbage takes about it.
