Someone is telling you their subjective opinion of something and you have to stumble in and say it’s wrong and they’re lying. Do you think that’s something a balanced person would do?

Buddy I really don’t know what to tell you. I’ve got like, several hunters. This account doesn’t have a long history. I haven’t posted on the forums much at all, and the characters I’ve posted on are this one, and my Draenei.
I like playing Hunter a lot. It’s my favorite class. I’m sorry I don’t have a way to give you proof unless you want to take this to like, Steam or Discord or something. But then I’d have to add you as a friend, and honestly? That sounds like a terrible experience.

There’s posting that you like the spec and then there’s posting that you followed Bepples’s posts and avoided survival until one day playing it and falling in love, making it the exclusive main. That’s obviously trying to put a particular slant on it and just like the last time it was tried it doesn’t add up.
I enjoyed the combat enough on SV to commit to it, Beps. The experience I had with SV was fun enough that I’m dropping MM and BM for it. Shocking to think that, aye? But surely you, the most sane and reasonable individual in the world, can truly understand this?
If MM gets a rework next expac and it’s fun to play, I’ll consider switching back. Until then, I’ll be logging onto my new SV and finishing it up/grinding reps on it instead (to be honest, I could just gear on my MM, but I like the journey so far). Sorry the spec is fun. Please keep your schizo posting to a minimum in the mean time, thanks.
What could this random person be trying to achieve here? If your conspiracy was real, what’s their end of it? To make you look like a fool? If that’s the case, how deep does this rabbit hole go?

Ah, yes. I am the Jailer. My Master plan is to enrage a singular poster on an online forum about video game balance surrounding a singular class. Through this, I will somehow pull the strings of fate and ultimately take control of all of the known universe.

i still say hunter as a whole needs a complete and utter overhaul.
very few of the class tree talents interact or affect our class abilities (aspect abilities, traps, turtle, feign death, hunter’s mark, flare) and the ones that do are completely unremarkable in functionality or exist as just cool down reductions. it feels for the most part they just looked at what hunter got while levelling in bfa/sl and just shredded it into the class tree.
i will say that marksman certainly has the most well thought out tree (because unlike survival and beastmaster, a goodly chunk of marksman’s strengths are not tied into pets) and as we all know both survival and beastmaster trees are just mostly % dps increase talents. i think an overhaul would also necessitate an overhaul in how pets function and exist because they are a massive drag (ai is bad, cumbersome to summon/store one, have important abilities attached to them that should be attached to the class/spec)

This is getting sad and I wish Blizzard did actual fudge to clear people that rant completely off-topic from the forums. Getting real tiresome.

Like, I would stream me playing SV Hunter just to prove a point that the class is fun, but 1. I’m at work, 2. I don’t stream. I’d like to start one day, though.
He’s really insane. I eventually gave up trying to reason with him and blocked him, it saves me so much headache.

I have been saying Bm would have been a much better melee spec since Legion. It would have taken less work to implement as well. Oh well.
I really want them to pick a direction with Survival…. Bombs for a melee spec makes no sense. Survival is an amalgamation of themes crammed into one. A primal spear user/bomb expert/trapper is silly. Get rid of the bombs!
Or just do what you should have done from the start and make BM the melee spec so we can slash and pulverize our targets in melee along side our pets. Survival can go back to what it was before…. A spec revolving around ammunitions, traps, and stings.

Or, you know, just actually let the spec choose whether it wants bombs (choosing between further bestial self-buffs, subtler augmentations, or burstier munitions, etc.)?
It is vastly different and got a rework at legion, then another rework prior to BFA launching.
OK, tell me how well the community has received these reworks. We are more divided than ever, and the feedback that we get is sad and lacking. Things like dual-wield is something that we only can dream about. No matter how overpowered bombs are, the gameplay around will always be doom after Shadowlands season 3 tier set, don’t forget that this ability has synegy without mastery. Mastery, lol.
People like survival, people don’t? Idk.
The issue is that people who liked RSV act like blizzard woke up that day and thought “screw this person in particular” and got rid of it. Now any time anyone says they enjoy the spec they’ve made it their terminally online life goal to try and make those people as miserable as they are.
People can’t disagree without taking it personal. Some people enjoy it, let them

And two reworks isn’t much. Shadow priest has pretty much been reworked every patch for two expansions.
But it’s the wow forums. It’s just an echo chamber of whining and crying, regardless of class. You can jump on any class forum and within the first page find a post saying “Blizzard hates X class and doesn’t want anyone to play it and wants to delete it”
Nothing serious will ever be seen or read here because I’m sure blizzard themselves knows how useless the forums are for getting feedback.

Im one of those that like melee survival, I always have. I believe is an idea with massive potential and TERRIBLE execution. I disagree when you say “I’m sure Blizzard themselves knows how useless the forums are for getting feedback” Often I see people proposing great concepts as well as some not-so-good ones. But regardless the devs don’t care enough, they barely engage in any conversation with us, which only feeds the disappointment and discontent.
Just this last patch we got a change we explicitly asked for so idk what you’re talking about?
