Hey guys trying to get a survey going I’m curious to see if the BG ques are actually causing a significant gear disparity or horde are making the problem out to be bigger than it is.
If you could take a min and answer a few questions thank you.

I’m not level 70 yet so I can’t comment. I’m surprised by the lack of response idk if the ally players don’t want to admit they are way ahead on pvp gear or the horde don’t want to admit the que time problem is overblown.
Let’s see some #s people whining on the forums either way isn’t useful feedback for blizzard.
Thanks for the reply. I would think this thread would get a decent amount of responses but it seems people on the forums would rather whine and troll instead of put out useful information.
I have the full blue set and pvp trinket and epic pvp bracers and 200 resilience and it doesn’t even matter, i get shredded like i have no resilience pieces on, the game is broken and not working as intended. Yes ally have instant queues but they rarely win. It’s not worth the time investment for the gear especially when it doesn’t even work right. Same with heroic dungeons. Get upset because your team sucks and wont even try to win in pvp, get upset cus your group sucks and expects you to be a frost mage and kite the whole instnace to death for them for badges of which there’s not but 3 items you can buy with them anyway. It’s not worth the headache and effort to play the game in it’s current state. They need to fix clearcasting, resilience, manashield, threat generation, and a whole host of other issues.
What’s not working as intended? Lol 200resil is still nothing. 300+ is when you really start noticing a difference tbh. Mages s1 it’s really just better to have pve gear for burst over the blue pvp set and replace whatever with season 1 pieces.
OCE Ally, 4 minute queues tops for AB/EOTS/WSG

3 pieces: Trinket, gloves, belt
Current honor 15k
Pre patch honor 38k (only started playing a week prior to pre-patch, didn’t boost)
Averaging 2 to 4 hours of BGs played a day.
Maybe I’m just getting old, but this grind is really turning me off the game… Starting to log fewer hours in WOW as days go by and find myself spending more time in my other MMO or simply just doing other stuff.

Days 70: 8 days almost 4 day /played @70
Current # of pieces: Gloves, shoulders and trinket
Current honor: 5k

Avg hours of bgs played per day: 12+hours in premades on weekends (Faerlina R1/Sweatty running flag premade, RIP) 6 hours every day during the week, Queing AV while working and playing the game every hours.
Playing like I have no life and I got 2 pieces and 1/2, this is great.

Right now queing as alliance is soul crushing. Even at a 15% win rate, AV is our best HPH. Horde send half their team to Galv and force turtles to make the game as long as possible and as unfun for the alliance as possible. No wonder most alliance don’t bother playing when their opponent behave this way. I only que because I am a hardcore PvPer and honor is needed to do arenas. As soon as my honor set is finished, I won’t que anymore and your queues will get even worse.
If you want lower que times make the game more fun for your opponents. Stop sending 20 horde to Galv. BASE RACE us, more alliance will que and we’ll BOTH get better HPH as we both burn towers and flip a coin to decide who kills the boss first.
Dude it still takes a long time to get even as Alliance, and a lot of us, like you, are not even 70 yet. A handful of career WoW players will be ahead in gear and dominate the tip top. Big deal. Doesn’t affect me. I bet I’ll take another week or two to level and still have no problem achieving my arena goals before the end of the season.
Honestly, I dont think its a big deal the alliance players are so bad at pvp that a little resiliance advantage wouldnt even save them from lack of skill and inferior racials

I’m sure people from both sides will look at season 1’s PvP gear push as almost completely braindead. Gear from dungeons and even revered rep is equivalent or better. Gear from heroics/raids/badges/exalted rep > most of the pvp rewards in season 1.
Oh, I remember the old days that AV took about 1 hour and everyone was just fighting. No rush to the base, only focusing on objectives and eliminating the other faction.
/played at 70: currently at 4 days 20 hours (not trolling) - took about 4 days /played at 70 with about 90% of that time being in queue for bgs. did heroics and stuff between queues.
current gear: 9 pieces of honor gear, spirit shard ring, two crafted resi pieces, stormcaller and badge trinket. currently at 307 resi if thats any indicator of my gear.
current honor: currently at 3.4k honor
pre patch honor: capped honor in pre patch and had extra marks stored in my mail to do “for great honor” turn ins
avg hours of bgs per day: 14+ hours per day in a full premade (its actually a good premade, not a trade chat premade) doing eots flag strat pre nerf and queue weaving AB
even with as much as i played during pre patch and on launch, i was barely able to get half a set of gear before arenas came out. meanwhile my ally friends said they were able to finish gearing 2-3 days after hitting 70
