Am I the only one who doesn’t understand this?
It got removed because Blizzard couldn’t balance it. It was either extremely OP to the point every mythic group was stacking shadow priests, or it was so weak it wasn’t worth using over the other level 100 talents.
If this entire thing is about giving players more choice, why would they bring back StM instead of the DoTless Shadow Priest talent from WoD that made Shadow insanely fun to play, especially in PvP?
Surrender to madness is hardly the worst part of Shadow Priest atm on alpha.
Void Form in its current state, just doesn’t work. It’s just awful to use. I think its time Blizzard gives Shadow another rework because I don’t think they’re gonna get void form back to the glory days.
Its just fun to die horribly.

I think we’re going back to “Illusion of Choice” by popular demand in Shadowlands.
And I’m not exactly disappointed by that.
The literal definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over, expecting different results. So, at least they’ve got that part down.

Void Form only works for raiding and high keys, everything else it’s literally garbage.
Remove Void Form, remove Insanity. Spec will be 10000% better.

As much as I liked Shadow Orbs in Mop… they were no different than say Holy Power or Combo Points.
At least Void Form is a bit unique.
I just want confirmation that Devouring Plague is returning. Even if just as a CD and not a spender.

That’s true, but I fail to see what else they can do with Shadow other than just remove all build/spending mechanics.
Someone at blizzard must’ve had an argument with a shadow priest again. So now they give them surrender to madness so he can see them die over and over I guess.
