In this thread, please post if you played WoW on the Horde side of Suramar in 2004-2006.

For best results, post what you remember about yourself and your friends you used to play with:

  • Your character’s name, race and class.
  • The name of your original guild on this realm.
  • The character names of other players you’re hoping to reconnect with.

Anyone from ‘The Black Mercs’ guild out there? Was ran by a Tauren Shaman named Ezisarious. Would like to reconnect with you folks. This is the former Troll Rogue, Powerslave. I used to run with a Tauren Druid, Habbakuk, and would enjoy trying to reestablish the old gang.

I used to play a Troll Priest names Jemboke. Wanted to see if I could reconnect with my old friend Zarajama or Starkrush

I used to play a female orc warrior named Kittyfish and a male tauren druid named Stahah from vanilla through mid-BC, in small guilds called Cloak of Shadows and Red Right Hand.

There were a couple of people that I would love to hear from again.

Be cool to say hi to Drakkann (and his wife who’s character i can’t remember), Rabual, Helva, Akiro, Morgnthorg, and i’m sure there’s about two dozen others I’m forgetting.

I used to play Unking, undead warrior and another Dwarfmenace, troll rogue. I spent most of my time supplying twink gear and raiding! Just wondering if any old names might show up here.

I still talk to Death but he’s not interested in coming back. I’ll totally send him this thread though!

Grainfed - Tauren druid

Onslaught, Midnight, Eradication, Fist …

Would love to meet up with any of the people I used to play with back in the day. Best memories ever were of Grain, Beefstick, Kahn, Matty, Rawr, Ched all running around like idiots and laughing uncontrollably until 3am every night… Game was never the same after the band broke up…

Awww yes, please do! He and I were connected for a while on AIM even after we weren’t really playing WoW together anymore but, well, AIM is long gone. I’m not sure if he’d remember the lil orc warrior lady whom he helped so much with quests when I was a clueless ~15 year old. I hope he’s doing well!

I did notice that a couple of 120s were showing in CoS on WoWProgress. Really amazing that almost 15 years later it’s still kicking, at least in some way :slight_smile:

Mishmash! And you had Mishmashed too didn’t you? Do you remember Gorgrael and Voltara? We were your only officers in Suramar’s Most Wanted. Also Sandviper, Minotaurx, Zeaven, and a few others I am having trouble remembering.

Undead Rogue named Shadowist. The two main guilds I remember being in were “The Pale Riders” and “Vilified”.

I texted him and was like OMG KITTY! :smiley: He just moved but he’ll totally contact you as soon as he hooks his computer up again.

But yeah, I couldn’t let the guild die. Lately it’s mostly been just a couple of peeps as others got burned out or moved on but I’m still here carrying on the torch. I’m pretty much a lifer at this point. Haha

Great to see you though! I get happy memory smiles thinking back to when we all used to play. :slight_smile:

Posiedon - Tauren Shaman

I was in several different guilds back in the day. Army of Darkness, Rattlin’ Bones, Onus, to name a few. It’s hard to remember everyone that I used to play with, but there are a few names that come to mind:

Jecht - Troll Warrior - (you were tanking Ragnaros the night of our first MC clear!)

Raspberry - Troll or Undead (I forget!) Priest - (You were also there for our first Rag kill!)

Gangriel - Undead Warrior (right?) - I believe it was you that immediately invited me to the guild when we pulled too many mobs in Live Stratholme and I, as a dps shaman, saved us from wiping!

Trolleyman - Troll Shaman - I remember being so jealous of you with your Sulfuras, Hand of Ragnaros mace!

Sneeb (I think that was your name?) - The first person to ever help me in WoW.

Hugmachine - Undead Warrior - We played so many WSG’s together! I remember I was 58 and you were 60 waiting for me to cap so we could play together again!

And then there is the BC squad. I know this post is about vanilla, and I played with all of you in vanilla, but the BC Heroics were the most memorable so that’s why I’m mentioning it here.

Warsbrew - Tauren Druid - OP bear tank for BC Heroics! (I think you hated tanking as a bear because it was so boring! lol)

Angelofhope - Tauren Druid - Angel! You and Wars always have a place in my heart!

Ratrox/Xortar - Undead Priest/Undead Warrior - Ratty, whatever happened to you?! I even came to Australia once while I was in the Marine Corps and we never met up like we were supposed to! Anyway, many fond memories with you in BC heroics (even when you made me heal…)

Dithric - Undead Warlock - “Entertain me” Yep, I still remember, bud! Dang, it has been too long since I’ve heard that…

Alukard - Troll Mage - You played a shaman as well, right? Alakard? Anyway, you brought the deeps for BC heroics! As well as more CC since like every pull needed to be CC’d then…

Onegore - Orc Hunter - I remember you being big mad in Karazhan because you couldn’t understand how I was doing so much dps as an enhance shaman, lol! Bro, I used to pull so much aggro from random WF procs it was crazy!

Beling - Blood Elf Paladin - You’re probably the only one I’ve seen still playing the game more recently (besides Vias)!

Mismo - Undead Priest - I was so glad when you were able to play because it meant I didn’t have to heal and I could go nuts with the random aggro of enhance shaman dps in BC, lol!

Also, I have to mention
Vias - Undead Rogue - We never played together in vanilla (not that I can remember) but I’m sure we crossed paths at some point back then. But we played in later xpacs and you’re the only one I still talk to today!

Oh man, so many more of you that I can’t think of right now.
