Why does a billion dollar company has such poor customer service. They rely on tickets that take weeks to respond to. Oh but they will send some automated response same day as ticket, not answering any of your questions or concerns.
They have “live chat” and “phone callback” that is always crossed out. Trying make it look like they actually offer those services. Unacceptable for such a high end big value company for having such lack of customer support.
How do you think they got the billion dollars?

They have really great customer service in my experience. Have you tried posting in the Customer Support forums?
Because Bobby decided that good customer service didn’t buy any more yachts than lousy customer service. I really believe that was short sighted. I have hope that MS will at least make them stop linking support articles that aren’t 404’d, but, not much hope after spending the last year trying to get MS to fix a billing issue with my kid’s GamePass.
Truthfully, their customer service that you could call was never good. I never received anything but frustration using it. For some reason, having someone lie over the phone is more infuriating than lies via text.
Their live chat was pretty decent. Not as good as chatting with a GM ingame, but not bad.
MS Support is quite similar sadly. Of all vendors I have dealt with, I enjoy opening a ticket with Microsoft the least.

Yeah, they’re pretty disappointing.
I agree with it being unacceptable for companies of such size to have horrible customer service experiences.
It’s very unfortunate that the drive to increase profits quarter over quarter (for the benefit of investors) promotes cutting corners. Seeing as the goal isn’t the betterment of the player experience, but in filling pockets of investors.
Investors and higher up fat cats, mind you.
