I think this speaks more to the shift from accessible and easier dungeons in the wrath design to an over correction in increased difficulty in Cata. You are right though this is entirely subjective for sure.

It doesn’t bother me one bit. If someone wants to do LFR, that’s their thing. I never got to do Naxx in Vanilla, and I didn’t finish Sunwell. God forbid people get to see end game who might not raid with Heroic and Mythic guilds. Content not seen is bad content.
Gear is the true reward in any mmo. Not who defeated what.
You dont have to do either of those… They have normal. Which is brain dead easy. Normal doesnt even reward gear better than the previous season. Normal IS the story mode!

Again, I disagree. The mentality of everyone must defeat everything is, in my opinion, bad. I have never cleared sunwell in Classic TBC, and that is fine. Good for those who did! They freaking rock man, i’m glad for them. They are epic!

Hate to break it to you, but not everyone is capable of raiding normal for whatever reason. I have no problem with LFR because people who do it do not effect my gameplay in any way shape or form.

I know plenty of people who play and have never stepped foot in a raid zone outside of being able to solo it. That said, I’m not going to play like that, nor will I expect them to play like me.

I find this an interesting debate and I don’t know which side I would take. I am not a fan of LFR and I agree raids feel epic in the classic era. However, it has to suck to pay x amount of dollars for a game and x amount for a subscription and not be able to play all of the content your money provides you access to due to lack of skill.
