Support Customer support

Hello, I am a brand new player to WoW and I was trying to join my friend who got me into this game. However, I am very lost and confused about all the different WoW versions. I had bought a character boost wanting to join my friend on The Burning Crusade Anniversary but I accidentally got my lvl 58 boost on the wrong server, I meant to put my lvl 58 boost Darthxsato on TBC Anniversary Nightslayer but accidentally selected TBC Anniversary Dreamscythe. I really want to play WoW with my friend but I feel like I am getting auto support responses and being told to pay when I have a simple support issue that can be easily resolved. I do not want a refund or to pay for a character transfer I just want my character moved to Nightslayer for a mistake I made. I have already spent enough money and plan to pay a sub in the future and I received this response in the attachments below. This makes me feel discouraged from being apart of the WoW community if the support isn’t considerate to new players especially when it is daunting and confusing to become apart of the WoW community.I planned to buy more boost in the future but not if the support can’t help me for a simple mistake, I am very upset I just want to play with my friend but this discouraging me. Can someone please help me resolve this issue so I can just play the game?

They’re not going to give you a free character transfer.

You should be attempting to get the boost refunded so you can apply it to a character on the server you want to play. Based on google it appears they won’t revert the boost on the character you picked, but they will refund the boost and lock the character until you boost that character again. It’s effectively a dead character if you choose to never boost it again.

Also, this isn’t the forum you’ll get any support from a Blue anyways; this is a public forum for player interaction. You can try your luck on the customer support forum, but AFAIK they can’t really do much for you in regards to this. Your best option is going to be opening a ticket.

You may have better luck posting in the Customer Support forums.

If I was in your shoes, I would most likely submit a Refund Request for the character boost, and hope for the best.
