They did hotfixes specifically to try to stop what he was doing, he saw the hotfixes, realized they missed one of the ways it could be done, and did it.

It’s literally textbook exploiting, but you do you.

Who mentioned healers and tanks? DPS.

You know what Method exploits instead of bugs? Women.

Also to note, people say it’s entirely on Blizz - it isn’t.

Wowhead, io, and the other sites that track World First could disqualify any attempts that use the exploit.

But they don’t. They count them and say they get world first. Both Blizzard and the community are enabling it.

Nobody?

Yes dps do it. I’m pretty sure you wouldn’t want a 3-tank arena team, gonna need dps in there. And if they are good then they are using interrupt/cc mouseover/focus macros.

So again.

Specify what part is cheating.

The RWF is a joke. None of the guilds started at the same time. The Chinese guild had the latest start out of all them due to the way server updates are rolled out across the globe. It isn’t a fair competition in the first place.

Exploiting yes, but not to a degree that justifies a ban. It wasn’t disruptive, it wasn’t gamebreaking.

We can add Echo who was formerly Method to that too. They removed one of their raiders before this tier started because of that.

Blizzard just have to Enforce their EULA:

ii. License Limitations. Blizzard may suspend or revoke your license to use the Platform, or parts, components and/or single features thereof, if you violate, or assist others in violating, the license limitations set forth below. You agree that you will not, in whole or in part or under any circumstances, do the following:

  1. cheats; i.e. methods not expressly authorized by Blizzard (whether accomplished using hardware, software, a combination thereof, or otherwise), influencing and/or facilitating gameplay, including exploits of any in-game bugs, and thereby granting you and/or any other user an advantage over other players not using such methods;

And they can know for a fact the 3 mages that were doing it.

Exploits of any kind are against the ToU and subject to banning.

If you acknowledge it’s an exploit, you should know that.

Again, until Blizzard starts doing more than slap on the wrist to the RWF teams when they exploit, they will continue to exploit as often as they can.

Hell, one of the guilds has outright stated this, IIRC.

I had one of the guilds call me out when I was on the CC and rant about me on stream for like 30 minutes because I said Blizzard should ban them because they were doing RMT on stream. (They were offering entries into a raffle with real life, cash value rewards, in exchange for split gear runs)

RWF genuinely think they are above the rules, and Blizzard treats them like they are.

Honestly who cares. I wish they would get rid of RWF

Nothing happens without Max knowing.

And you know the worst part?
Imfiredup didn’t ask Max to not show his stream because he was afraid Blizzard would see.

He didn’t want Echo to know and use it as well. They were not scared of Blizzard.

Just so everyone is aware who is saying this is an exploit but won’t explain how:

This entire thing was started because Gingi from Echo posted about it on Twitter. It was virtually not even noticeable by anyone because basically everyone in the RWF is using some kind of wild macros and no one cares.

TL;DR competing player who is known for being a massive cry baby on the other team salty that he got banned for knowingly exploiting on stream and even acknowledging it was an exploit trying to get people to get riled up about something that isn’t even an exploit and you dummies fell for it.

Great job :+1: If your crusade is against exploiters then you’re only helping a guy who exploits all the time and openly says he doesn’t care lol

Right, I’ve maintained the stance that their exploiting is not bad enough to be bannable. I’m only arguing that he is not doing anything abnormal when you consider his real actions.

Lmao they should also ban some echo raiders then, at the time of writing this, Gingi is using a weird combat bug to get max stacks of the mechagnome racial before pull. Surely you echo defenders have something to say about this?

It doesn’t matter.
You’re trying to justify or add context here that doesn’t change the fact:

  • Imfiredup exploited, was caught, exposed.
  • Liquid knew it
  • Blizzard is aware but will not take action.

Anything besides that is just you trying to make apologies for what was done.

He quite literally said on stream to their leader to hide his screen.

He knows what he was doing is not intended.

Ppl still watch it ??

Because afaik it hasn’t been fixed.

Telling you what the exploit is or how it works would result in us getting forum banned.
