Yes. Most of the R&D reaches out the higher end players and class discords more than reading the majority of people that don’t understand game basics on the general forums.
The issue is that most of the ideas/complaints aren’t credible or worth anything.
I always laugh when people who don’t know what they are talking about pretend like they do.

OECD says 50% of Americans have an 8th grade reading level. The forums highlight that.
You don’t get to do them until you all fully explore all zones while grounded.
Blizzard should stop adding new classes to the game they should instead focus on creating new specs for existing classes.
For example: shaman tank, monk support that uses chi-ji as main celestial, dual wield paladin support spec, warrior banner focused support spec and other’s.

You’re also assuming that people that are happy with the game aren’t also coming to the forums (which is partially true because most people who are happy won’t post on the forums)
I’d also love to hear your terrible take on how the forums has anything to do with people who enjoy playing optimally and min maxing.

Game needs to stop catering to people who don’t want to play it. From hyper casuals who play an hour a week and think everyone should be just as limited in content; to the uber elites who want the best just for playing one part of the game.

Controversial take: transmogs should not be limited by armor types. If your character can equip it, it should be moggable. There are so many mogs that I wish my character could use, but I’m only allowed to use plate 
I’d go a step further and say just let people mog anything that isn’t class restricted.
It’s not as though my mage can’t already mog certain plate armour that’s flagged as a cosmetic set.
