I hate clipping too. I wouldn’t say that’s a controversial take. Here’s a controversial take:
Having some no-flying zones is a good thing due to a number of factors. The most important on which is forcing players to actually play and interact with not only their fellow players, but also the game world itself.

Demon hunter should never have been a class. They took a single character and tried to stretch the concept out enough to fit an entire class but only wound up with enough ideas for two specs. Plus, what is even the point of them after Legion?

I mean, they could expand it to a third spec, and I’d be interested in seeing the support DPS role expanded, but there’s enough concept to work off of for DH regardless. Vengeance and Havoc are fine thematically.
Same as the point of them before Legion and during Legion, they fight.

I guess they simply cannot be bothered, then. Certainly not hoping we as a playerbase will forget about them.
I don’t imagine you’re going to see a new DH spec until we see new specs rolling off for the older classes, or added specs as a feature/selling point of one of the next expansions.

Gnomes, Pandaren and Vulpera should be moved to a third faction called the “Unwanted” that are permanently flagged for PVP.
Horde and alliance can attack them anywhere anytime with no penalties or guard actions.
If you kill 100 per day for a week you get a new mythic slot opened in Vault for the week.

The expansion model should be abandoned in favour of a dynamic world that is constantly changing, with a rolling narrative and new challenges arising on a regular basis all around the WoW universe.
