Avocado too.

Most of the info in a guide just dosent reallly matter to the average player.
Everyone would be significantly better off looking at the basic rotations and experimenting.

Guides also seem to almost never have what top players actually use aswell.
Especially for tanks, if those were designed for newer players why doo they always suggest a super high dps build instead of a more defensive one that actual experienced players do.

uhm since when was chromie in vanilla?

Since always? She was in Andorhal.

Pay for convenience is diet pay to win :dracthyr_comfy_sip:

what? why would she be there? thats in western plaguelands.

Honestly the most offensive part of the Chromie visage situation is just being a Gnome. Awful little critters they be. Don’t feed them after midnight.

From wowwiki:

Andorhal was the site of some diabolical experiments by the Scourge. But when they started tampering with time, the bronze dragonflight sent Chronormu to investigate. Chronormu set up a base of operations in the Andorhal inn, creating a time pocket in a single room. There, operating from another time, free of the Scourge’s infestation, Chronormu could investigate without contaminating the timeline.[9]

Using her mortal visage, Chromie, the bronze enlisted the aid of adventurers to assist, sending them to root out Temporal Parasites which were interfering with auguration. To maintain the pocket universe, Chromie needed trinkets of time from the ruins of Andorhal. In return for these, Chromie crafted dampeners attuned to Araj, the lich who ruled over the broken city. When activated in his presence, they severely reduced the effectiveness of his spells and played an instrumental role in his downfall.[10]

The more time spent with these mortals, the more sympathetic the bronze agent became with their desperate plight and mourned the losses to the Scourge. When Carlin Redpath, hoping to undo the curse on the soul of his brother, heard about the strange little gnome, he sent his friends to speak with her, equipped with Joseph’s wedding ring. Upon receiving the ring, Chromie immediately knew much of Joseph — that he was a great man who had suffered an unspeakable tragedy, and knew it was too late to save him in the present, but not in the past. Sending Carlin’s agents into the ruins of Andorhal, they uncovered records detailing the fall of Darrowshire, and the corruption of Joseph Redpath.[11][12][13]

To help him, relics from that battle were needed. With Carlin’s help, relics belonging to the heroes and villains of Darrowshire were assembled. Also needed were remains of many Scourge who participated in the battle, found by the use of a resonating crystal that could discern which of the Scourge in the Plaguelands had been there. When all these were assembled, they were brought to Chromie, who cast a spell of time upon them and bid Carlin’s friends to return to Darrowshire and place the bag of relics in the center of town. Chromie’s spell would raise the spirits of The Battle of Darrowshire, and they would reenact a pantomime of that tragic battle. Chromie could only guide the mortals to their paths, not lead the way for them, and so Chromie bid Carlin’s friends good luck and returned to the investigations of Andorhal.

Every class needs a 4th spec for more healers, tanks, and supports

uhm that sounds like its from cataclysm not vanilla. in which case its 2010 not 2004.

Your first time leveling up should take days of playtime and each piece of gear you get should feel like a meaningful upgrade. I think new players would really enjoy this.

The rapid pace to max should only be allowed for alts.

The town that Scholomance was in?

It’s not… This is the Cataclysm section:

During the Cataclysm, Chromie was present at Crown Guard Tower in the Eastern Plaguelands and briefly met the members of Fiona’s Caravan.

Later, Chromie was one of the characters who helped the adventurers at Mount Hyjal, aiding in the fight against Ragnaros’ forces.[19]

She later appeared in the Well of Eternity instance following the defeat of Mannoroth, where she asked if she had missed anything and was awed by Mannoroth being pulled into the Well. When spoken to, she asked “How can I be of aid, stranger?”, implying that from her point of view this is the first time Chromie had met any adventurers.

Following the final defeat of Deathwing at the Maelstrom, Chromie resided in the Alliance capital of Stormwind City with a [Fragment of Deathwing’s Jaw]. If asked, she allowed members of the Alliance to witness the events that transpired there.

Chromie was always in Vanilla, in Andorhal, doing exactly what I shared. I remember doing it back in the day.

Chromie isn’t in Cataclysm Western Plaguelands, to my recollection. Araj’s quests in Vanilla were scrubbed out with Cataclysm.

The only real issue with this is that WoW is not entirely populated by the same audience that used to play it, and games that slow burn to max level don’t tend to keep new players (not an age thing, just the time we live in with entertainment) engaged. Re: FFXIV. Sure, you can buy a skip for FFXIV’S story and buy a class boost to match, but you have no idea what’s going on. So you either pay another full retail game price to skip content, or you play through a couple hundred hours of content just to get to max level content.

:dracthyr_shrug:

WoW’s balance seems decent enough. Outside of Cataclysm, the expansions’ leveling cadence seems to be intended to get you from 10-70 through most of the expansion’s leveling experience.

Sylvanas should still be around. Her writers don’t even work here anymore. I liked that girl!

This is very nuanced for me. I hate people in every day, perfectly functioning vehicles going a little slow.

I do not mind people going slow for legitimate reasons. Wide load, truckers blocking a dangerous driver to make the catch easier for police, malfunctioning vehicle, etc. etc.

Since I don’t always know, I generally chill.

What I hate is people who ride you while you’re 10-15 over and there are open lanes. People like that literally should have their license taken away. Don’t let them get to the part where they kill someone first.

Players ruin games because they have to optimize everything to a tee despite playing suboptimally. If more players stayed away from the forums and stopped reading news from unreleased patches, they’d realize the game isn’t nearly as bad as they make it out to be.

Players are their own worst enemy. Nobody wants to take the time to get to know anyone because it takes actual skill and, since nobody knows anyone, nobody cares about ensuring they’re a good party member. They’ll just leave and find the next set of NPCs to run with. Then they have the audacity to blame Blizzard as if it’s their fault you all treat each other like crap.

Players care more about obtaining their 1000th mount they’ll not use for more than 3 days, the highest ilvl gear they’ll replace in 3 months, and “keeping up” with the players that literally (actually literally, not figuratively) play for 6-8 hours a day rather than just accepting they play at a slower pace and will get there eventually anyway. If they can’t get it as soon as it’s in game, they’ve failed and the game sucks. But they’ll keep subbing anyway.

Blizz didn’t kill WoW. The players did when they decided everything had to be achieved asap. You ruined the game for yourself. Those of us that took a step back, listened to the pandaren and slowed down, have been enjoying the game just fine and making friends along the way.

Both Skyriding and Steady Flight in The War Within zones should have been locked until The War Within Pathfinder gets completed, not just Steady Flight.
