Fast queues would be all over the place - not just at the lower ratings. Dedicated PVP players - of all skill levels - don’t have a lot of ways to make gold; as such, this would be a very attractive option for them. Heck, we’d probably see more DPS roll Healers just for the chance to make some gold!

You are missing the point, it could be abused as a gold farming method and be detrimental for the lower brackets.

If your game doesn’t work because certain roles aren’t fun to play, just PAY people to play those roles.
So it feels like work for them.

This problem exists since 18 years now and Blizz doesn’t care, so…

They had more than enough time to change something.

But the truth is, they give a **** about PvP players.
They take the monthly 15$ and then let us wait in 40 min Queues.

And before that they let us wait in an ABSOLUTE minimal effort, cheap, garbage LFG-Tool.

I mean what OTHER company is so disrespectful against their paying customers?
Do you know another game where you play 40$ every xpac and then 15$ a month just so you can’t play the game and stay in dumb queues?

I hope that Riot MMO comes soon and is decent and Blizzard will never see me again.

they mainly cater to PVE players , in that regard they got dragonflght right, SL had a lot of players quit not sure if they will ever come back

plus MMO are really not that popular anymore so all Riot might just do is split the population even more or and I hope it lights a fire under blizzard to get PVP right

I can only assume that they’re thinking about the problem; however, it’s not an easy fix - which is probably why they haven’t fixed it yet.

Honestly, the demands and expectations of the WoW community can be a bit… ridiculous at times. I feel for the devs. I really do. Every player seems to think that he’s got the answer (and that it’s “Just so obvious”, it’s “Just so easy”) - yourself included.

Prob a good idea to do it this way, Augment Runes should always be worth a deece amount since they get burnt constantly in raids.

We’re about as close to that as we’re realistically going to get. We’ll probably run into boosted character syndrome if we get any faster where people haven’t even keybound the chars they’ve full bis’d and just end up losing interest in them.

Exactly the point why they need to get away from leveling and gearing. For a brand new player, there are more barriers to entry such as keybinding, macros, and addons.

It’s less defending and more accepting that this is like as far as we’re going to get in terms of quality of life. Casual players, believe it or not, seem to like a degree of power progression and that exists in the acquisition of honor and then conquests gear.

For a brand new player, there are more barriers to entry such as keybinding, macros, and addons.

I think it’d be helpful if they had a sort of “template” for macros. But they won’t even show DRs on the default UI so that’s pretty unlikely. Oh, and maybe cast @ teammate/role macro functionality might be nice.
