No bans, yet Blizzard did patch some of the spots at BWL to boot you out. So clearly they have some inclination against out of bounds. But like most things, they aren’t consistent in their application, which leads me back to my thought that things only happen if enough people complain about it.
As for eagle eye/far sight, the hunter or shaman is sitting somewhere exposed while they do that. They are still killable should you actually find them.
So true. I would roll pve if I knew what I know now or I would roll horde pvp. Its just no fun because horde are so dominate in world pvp and alliance seems to avoid pvp at any cost.
For example right now there are at least 70 horde at lights hope chapel. 0 Alliance groups trying to take it back. I’m guessing I won’t be able to talk to the new quest givers for at least a week
Can you blame them? A fight that big will just be a lag fest slideshow with possible server crashing. Its not going to be fun. 10v10? 5v5? Thats fun. Blob vs blob? Not worth the trouble of showing up. Plus its not even a fight that can be ended because the gy is literally right there. Its just endless lag until enough people get bored and log out for it to be stable again.
Should be. If it’s not part of natural game design and an obvious exploit. However if it’s possible with game design and circumvented with pvp then it’s ok.

You don’t understand, you have to agree with Ironchain’s justification of exploiting gameplay mechanics because for some unexplained reason exploiting is not exploiting if you don’t actively engage in pvp!

Many people join PvP server hoping for a bit of excitement while level’ing.
Unfortunately, the vast majority of world PvP is either a 5-v-1 scenario ( or worse odd), a rogue ganking somone low on health or a high-level terrorizing a newby area… none of which is particularly enjoyable for people who signed in hoping ‘for a bit of excitement while level’ing’… and people who spend days dispelling buff need psychological help. seriously.

Yea Blizzard wont fix teleport/fly hacking as it would massively reduce hundreds of thousands of bots, and Bliz doesn’t want that!

I heard folks reporting on my server they are purging/dispelling buffs from under there as people head in.
EDIT - I should’ve added I wasn’t there to witness it, but wouldn’t be surprised.

Yes there’s a pvp solution for camping, just not a solution a low level has available to them. And if level 60s do come kill them, they just wait until they leave and then kill you all over again.
It’s no different than messing with someone by dispelling their buffs. You can kill them too, you know. Whether or not they decide to rez and do it again is moot. Happens in all areas of PvP.
