I am leveling a rogue, it is currently level 26 and I wanted to do a SFK with some friends in order to get some weapon upgrades.
I cannot be summoned via the summoning stone after the new boosting/dungeon mob changes.
I would have to had run all the way to Silverpine Forest from the place I was questing in order to do a dungeon with some friends which would’ve forced them to wait well over 20 minutes while I simply run there.
Why is this a thing?
You would also destroy their exp as the game would label you a carry.

Generally it’s because people would set up crews all over the map and offer summoning services everywhere. Would be kind of lame, but yeah I understand your issue with it for sure.
That has nothing to do with the boosting changes. People should really look stuff up before trying to blame everything on something not related. Or at least understand how the game works in the version they are playing. You where not able to be summoned to the stone even before the boosting changes.
Tbc has restrictions on summoning stones they are removed in wrath when rfd was added due to teliport to instance on que. Now this may or may not be removed in wrath this time round given no rfd thou plus it was not there at start of wrath.
It’s no different than how you can’t summon a 65 toon to gruuls even no they can enter as it’s a raid stone or level 68 toons to mgt stone.
As a note sfks stone has a level range of 17-25
I guess I was just mis-remembering being able to summon above the lvl range. Still dumb imo tho.

Anyone of any level can HELP summon someone, they just can’t be the target or the person who starts it. I.E., the SFK 17-25 level restriction means someone level 20 can start the summon on a party member also level 20, and a level 70 can click the portal to help finish the summon.
Maybe that’s what you we’re thinking of?
I think its questie that adds the summoning stones to the map, and mousing over the stone shows the level range.
