I sell summons every day, it pays for consumes. We rotate locks who spend the shards, shard provider gets 50% of the cut. We farm shards during downtime, we go for hours

The majority of summoners are people using 3 accounts to increase their gold intake. Its about 50-70g a hour.
Some use friends, others just buy 2 extra accounts

Either way, the only people willing to spend 2 gold to save a 2 minute flight are gold buyers. This is just soaking up gold buyer money, blatantly. Just like GDKP. That’s the entire purpose. And most of it is automated.
Time is money, If people think 20minutes of travel time is worth 2gold, which takes about 5minutes to make. They’ll spend 2g.
