Bumping again to keep this visible.
From my side, I began using Ruthe’s MountSelector. It’s a new addon but works great to avoid this bug. The author is really cool and listen to suggestions. Check it out.
Very first thing I tested after logging in on patch day and LOOKS like this has FINALLY been fixed… Hoping the fix sticks! Huzzah Summon Random mount is back!
I didn’t want to say something to soon and curse it but I haven’t had a problem since patch day. Praise Yogg.

Hey Blizzard, with Siren Isle being ground mount only maybe ya’ll should get off your gluttonous maximus and fix this…
