WHICH IS FINE because I’d rather a short que than a dead server. BUT please lock transfers soon so 15 mins doesn’t turn into an hour.

Yeah, good luck convincing these forums that that should be considered. Can’t wait to come back here on the week of the 26th when that 2k queue (Which is what it is at the time of typing this*) jumps up to 5-6k when all the people who have stopped playing and are waiting for Wrath launch decide to jump on again.
Friend jumped on and was at 2k when they logged in tonight. Didn’t manage to get a 2k screencap from them but here is it at 1.5k.
Point is, if transfers don’t get cut soon launch week is going to be disgusting and idk about yall, but I transferred OFF of Bene and onto Sulf to avoid this.

I’m not liking this! I transferred from Grob because of the 300+ min queue. They need to STOP the transfers here and redirect them elsewhere ASAP before this 10 min queue turns to 1 hour+

Ally transfers from bene to sulfuras should be the only thing open. The reason it’s still open is because they are trying to get the server balanced. If they closed that now it doesn’t help them get people off bene and it doesn’t help balanced alliance v horde on sulfuras. Gotta keep it open until horde and ally are matched even than shut it.

There’s Alliance all over the place. They have to shut it down right now.
The Horde has 20% more auctions and the players to match it.
Alliance transfers from Benediction are remaining open as Blizzard promised they would do so when they announced the initial server lock.
I am on Sulf and had zero queue, but all the Youtubers kept telling everyone to move over to my server. How lame you people can’t even think for yourself. You have to have some guy on Youtube tell you where to go, what faction to choose, what class to play, how to spec, how to gem, what addons to get, what quests to do, what zones to play, how to set your action bars and then what server you need to transfer over to.
That is why all you people keep coming over to my server. I was here first. Now I have a queue when it used to be an instant login.
Oh yeah, I’m sure all that “balancing” is going to work out great when people and guilds start transferring off because of the crazy queue times come launch. Then where will your balance be?
The servers will NEVER be balanced, ever, and trying to make a perfectly balanced server is a fools errand.
It’s better to stop while ahead than to push so hard trying to balance that those people start flooding out of the server as well.
Where will they go to? Blizzard seems to be aiming to place every PvP server at full capacity. If Blizzard opens up free transfers off Sulfuras, then everyone who wants balance is welcome to take their chances with the new destination. Maybe we will end up with two one-sided servers in that case, but that would be kinder than locking the Alliance on a one-sided server that they have to pay to leave.
Grabbing popcorn while I watch it turn into a 5 hour queue.

It could very well be a five hour queue on launch, but it would not be due to getting 20% more alliance players (judging by auction numbers and the 45-55 estimates). Five hours is something like 10k-13k players, and that would mean we’re already sitting at 40k alliance, which would require more than all of Benediction to transfer to Sulfuras.
It would just be due to launch week always being a mess on a good pop server because not everyone is going to be that active after the initial rush.
EDIT: 10k players might be more like 3 hours, I don’t know that I’ve seen a five hour queue.
You’re overestimating the numbers or not understanding them fully. There’s only about 13k online on the server, and I think at least 6k alliance online right now. At level 70 there’s been about 16.1k alliance seen over the last 7 days and 19.5k horde. The server isn’t perfectly balanced but it’s getting close.
The other risk is that to be honest the alliance were getting are better quality. Alliance actually have a huge chance to completely remove horde from this server, like no joke.
16.1k x 1.2 (20% more) = 19.32k (and you said 19.5k)

It doesn’t require that many more beni to balance the server is the main point I’m getting at. Just like another 1000.

Was it that bad of an idea that siding with it got you degreened? 
We don’t know how many of those 70’s are actually the same player, but I am hoping Blizzard does.
I know Blizzard is not that reliable, but unfortunately in this case there is nothing else to do but hope they can get it close to balanced and the rest is up to chance.
You really should be happy you’re seeing queues on Sulfuras, I’m expecting the pop to drop a lot once the hype dies out and the Bene queues go down.

One of them is my horde alt that I’m not playing, since I’m playing alliance side for wrath. So yeah lol.
