According to their Q&A: “not at this time”.
I did test out a highly populated PvP Server (Whitemane - Horde) with an addon (Global Ignore List) I downloaded, as a “starter kit” to figure out which words to “filter out”, to avoid being bombarded with such ads.
Reason why I bring up the fact that it’s a PvP Server is because Pagle (a PvE Server, yet still fairly populated, for the Alliance) is filled with LESS of the junk that I saw on the PvP Server.
With the Global Ignore List addon, it’ll help weed out the nonsense, so you can see ACTUAL LFG listings.
My conclusion: PvP Servers are the WORST, followed by the more popular the Server, the more its susceptible to things like GDKP and Boosting (Pagle, as an example). And, lesser populated servers (my main server - Bloodsail Buccaneers) is less infested but (also) slower paced and not as rapid as more populated Servers.
Despite PvP Servers (at least Whitemane) being infested with unnecessary spam, there’s A LOT more “regular” types of dungeon runs being hosted than my own main Server provides (hence why I say it’s a lot more “slower pace”).
I advise checking around other Servers to see what fits right with you while also downloading the “Global Ignore List” Addon, to help weed out the unnecessary text spam. One thing I’ll give PvP Servers (at least Whitemane) credit for are the Summoning Services for their shared Server Members to obtain WBs and the like. Something, I didn’t think to “Filter Out” because neither my Main Server nor Pagle does such a thing. To be fair, I only tested the PvP Server for like a day, and I could’ve caught a group of people, being “nice” for that day, but I digress.
What’s funny is I think my main Server is home to the “Hardcore Challenge”, but I could be wrong LOL
Happens around here on the Forums.
It will, but there is an Ignore Feature on these Forums, as well, to weed out unwanted commentary, as well.
Here’s a link to that Addon (the Classic version and NOT the Standard Game Version LOL): https://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info25034-GlobalIgnoreListClassic
EDIT: Also, my stance on “fresh” -
Seasonal Servers for any Era type of WoW while simultaneously having Perma ones, alongside. Upon the Seasonal Servers self-deleting themselves, there should be a paid service to save/archive said Seasonal Server Characters onto the Perma Servers, of their respective Era Types. Otherwise, when the Seasonal Servers self-delete, all the characters that didn’t get saved/archived, through the paid services, over onto the Perma Servers will go POOF. They’ll NEVER return, even when the new Seasonal Server begins, and I do hope more Seasonal Servers make their way, with breaks in between, to keep that excitement, flare, hype, etc., going. No to NEW Servers that will never self-delete and just clogging up the Perma Server Listing.
