I do not agree with the OP at all I have been around long enough to see many many changes in people in perception and also in games.
That being said the OP has a point, because where do you draw the line?
They are correct that the succubus is a sensualised female without decent clothing, demon or not, so as I said before where do you draw the line.
What is considered fine to some is offensive to others and anyone that dismissed the OP and downvoted is just as guilty as those that allow it. Not because you didnā€™t say anything, but because you enable it by ignorance, This is why politicians, lawmakers etc have a tough time, because a line has to be drawn, even in games, so where do we put it?
Do we stop at removing the blizzard dude, or changing demon forms? maybe removing skimpy armor from the game? of course all swearing and even remote phrases that could offend, (like the name dumass) should be removed to right?
When do we stop?

You claim you are against subjugation, and yet want to subjugate people to your views of what is appropriate clothing?

No I donā€™t want to subjugate peopleā€™s CHOICE. I have stated as much.

The succubus IS however a subjugated female sex demon. Very poor taste considering what we have learned about blizz.

Be fair they have already conceded the point about personal choice and the rights of the individual.
Blizz really should offer a way to glyph Succubi (and perhaps other demons) into something else.
Hell. Iā€™d not play Drood alts without the glyphs for getting away from the Atomic Chicken.

Glyph of the stars ftw.

Iā€™m all for them adding additional options. Like I always propose that they have a DK glyph that gives the Unholy DK more of a necromancer vibe.
OP however is twisting a dominatrix archetype into somehow being a subjugated slave in this case, and in other threads complained about clothing being too sexy.

We still need a Shadowform concealing glyph for Priests and a glyph that gives the standard humanoid form for Druids. Blizzard could make a lot of players return if they only expanded on the Spell customization / Glyph systems as City of Heroes did.

Players in that game could design their combat effects color etc.

So if you wanted to be a Necromancer, you could make your Demon Bolt teal and your demons, skeletons. I am not joking. City of Heroes is still the best game for customization of avatar in any MMO, past or present.

omg i loved that quest

I think you may have mistaken me for someone else. I donā€™t recall posting in any other threads about clothing.

The whole idea of the succubus in WoW as a warlock ā€œpetā€ is that the warlock bends the demon to their will, I.e. subjugates.
