Notice any difference? one is a strong & independent female character and the other is sexualized one made by a cube crawler, both are official art asset of Blizzard.

seeing as how serious youre taking this you deserve some honest replies. i think its worth considering that while the people who coded the object in question may have been debauched people themselves, it remains true that the succubus is an old, old literary and mythical entity not unlike a siren or some kind of forest nymph. Seductive supernatural entities are hardly hard to come by conceptually, and with the prevalence of demons in Warcraft, itās not particularly outstanding.
I think adding an Incubus would be really appropriate considering they are continuing to add more sexes for more and more races like Nathrezim for example now have female forms. I think additions, and not erasures, would be best in this caseā¦

its also worth considering that demons, being nonhuman, otherworldly, supernatural, and not bound by human mores and codes, might not be expected to even care about things like clothes. I think creatures only have clothes in videogames to pass age restrictions and publication tests, but ultimately, no demon in WoW is particularly clothed, neither male or female. The same in other creature games. Nonhuman creatures generally are quite nude because nonhumans dont have the same hangups in mythologies

see andariel in diablo. although I think its fair to suggest if we can see andarielās breats, and lower parts, we should be able to see diabloās lower parts and others tooā¦ honestlyā¦

I recall hearing Ray Harryhausen speak about why he took such an inhuman path for medusa in his version of Clash of the Titans. His reply was that there would be little threat, or implied menace in a classical portrayal, so he went back to the oldest roots of the myth and summoned up a true snake demon based he said on Harappan Naga Demons.

The problem I have with OP is that they are trying to force their views on others as if they are somehow ācorrectā, not considering for a single moment that just like the sexy clothing rants they have posted in the past they are demeaning to women who may not necessarily share their narrow views of what is appropriate.
Succubus is no more sexist than sexy clothing is. Not everyone wants to dress up as a Taliban victim.

wrathguards in WoW have a lot to show off. the only thing holding them back is a small loin piece, as with many demons lol. Iām ready to lift the veil when everyone else is!

I thought it was obvious that women do not get a say about it themselves.
Women who are offended on behalf of other women demands it, and men just have to support it or they are vile and disgusting.
It is the only way to save the women working at blizzard I am afraid.
