Succubus is sexist please remove/ incubus incoming

i have a sincere question for you, Lokath.
let me preface it by saying, i’m a female IRL, and i avoid using the succubus because she’s overtly sexual and i dont want to give the impression that i promote overtly sexual conduct in social environments, since there’s a time and place for that, and in the general public, is not the time or place.

however, i have also been taught that the female form is nothing to be ashamed of, and the natural functions related to sexual attraction are also nothing to be ashamed of. in this regard, i’m hesitant to demand that others view female sexuality as something to hide or cover up, though i personally dont wish to promote it being overtly employed in a general public setting.

what is your rationale?

Me not getting attention as a child has 0 to do with this lol.

Why does it matter what character I post this on? I think the argument stands on its merit alone. There are plenty of people who agree with me too.

You don’t have to overly sexualize people by making them 99 percent naked.

The things that I find attractive in order

  1. Personality
  2. Eyes
  3. Heart

The rest should be left up to imagination.

I actually advocate for more player choice because players have the choice. Succubus does not have a choice. She is objectified.

describe what this word means to you, in the case of female sexuality? is it only female sexuality that bothers you ?

no one in the game has a choice. all the demons are bound.

Yet they are not sex objects

No they aren’t they are the Warlock’s companion, the ONLY ONE who chooses to come with really.

There is nothing untoward here dude, now after this weekend, do you see what putting stuff up like this brings out in people?

So you’re are advocating that Felguards and Doomguards should also be wearing more clothes? Because they are half naked as well.

What’s next man, removing gnomes because it perpetuates violence against little people?

Assuming the pet is actually perpetuating a negative stereotype, why does everything else that’s morally questionable in the game get a free pass?

Murder, looting, deceit, theft. You can even carve up your enemy’s corpse with a toy. This is all fine, but you draw the line at objectifying a literal demon.

This game is rated T for Teen by the ESRB, themes which include:

Violence
Suggestive themes
Crude humor
Minimal blood
Simulated gambling
infrequent use of strong language.

This subject falls under suggestive themes and crude humor, I would like to suggest OP grows up to the equivalent of a 13 year old.

It’s when male devs create a female character with skimpy/sexual outfit only to satisfy them and their fans.

The succubus existed before WoW, they had less clothes. You going to build a time machine and go back and change that too?

Do they have a forum for that? I am sure you’d be aware. You should really log in once and while and get more achievements T. It wouldn’t be so darn obvious.

Which is why they should be removed, do you even read the thread title? im not asking Blizzard to put clothes on them.

what if they were female devs? trying to discern the rationale for removing sexy female stuff. is it because we ladies should feel shamed if we look sexy?

Or again you should remove yourself.

I can’t imagine living life perpetually offended, wanting everything changed for you, almost dictator like.

Tell me, are skimpy mogs still out? You made a stance on that at the start of all this?

Succubus in WOW were created back when the cube crawlers still at Blizzard.

Look, if Hearthstone can remove succubus, so should WOW.

can you address my question? should females be ashamed if they are sexy?

And those who did nothing wrong? I bet you label them all. Just like every thread you have put up in your illustrious career. Once upon a time you rode on the backs of the LGBTQ community, now it’s the victims in this case.

You should stop trying to fight everyone else’s battles.
