Pending means that it hasn’t been fully processed yet. While you might see the funds being held by your bank, these sorts of transactions do actually take some time for banks on both sides to clear.
If it moves to a “failed” state, then that would indicate an issue.

How long? How comes a transaction takes so long? Can it not be resolved asap
Transactions like this used to take up to 72 hours, but they’ve got it down to 24 or less.
As much as we wish bank transactions were actually instantaneous, they really aren’t. That’s why we see holds on funds etc. when doing this sort of thing. It’s pretty normal.
Most online transaction take about 72 to fully process, even if you see the money claimed almost immediately. Why it takes that long? I couldn’t say, I think someone in the banking industry might have a better insight there.
In your case, it looks like the authorization is pending, which tends to be a little different from just “processing”. If you can, I’d recommend checking with your bank to make sure they don’t have any issues with those charges.
