Subscription expiration

Hello, I just logged into my account this morning and saw a “subscription expired” message. I went into my account transaction history and saw that the 6-month recurring renewal posted/went through in mid-late February, so I’m a little confused as to why I’m seeing this expiration message at all.

My sub doesnt expire until Jan. 2027 and got the same notification in the battlenet app that it has expired ?

The Bnet app is often incorrect and not synched up with the real account data.

What does the actual account data say on the website? If it says you have game time on your license you are fine.

If not, the account system may be having an …issue!

My wife and I have the same issue. Website says good till Aug and launcher says expired, but we can both log in and play.

Your older named license is fine, Daninkai.

Account Admin is the best place to check this, the launcher may not be accurate.

Same. It says sub expired on the app but when i went to the website it said active. I’m able to log into WoW no prob but it’s weird. I sure hope this is a bug and is fixed soon.

same. I Thought it did expire, so I paid it, but now is there overlap?

Its a bug that occurs from time to time. If you’re ever unsure your actual account page is the best place to check.

Yeah, the launcher is tripping. It says "subscription expired” but the account page correctly shows active sub with next billing date in May.

There’s no overlap - any game time you purchase just adds on to the end of your existing sub.

i agree. they did this the inaccurate way. needs to be resolved.

Customer Support (Both this forum, and the GMS) does not file or work on bugs. If you want to create a bug report ticket, you can submit one using the in game form, or you can create a post on the Bug Report forum.

Thanks for looking into this.

This is not anything new, unfoetunately-- we’ve had semi-frequent posts over the past couple years or so.

As it is purely a display error (account management details so far have always been accurate in these instances), it will get patched out eventually but is likely that patience is going to be a major key on our part given the urgency in the above context.
