Hunter Pets

Will there be an increase to the amount of pets Hunters can have tamed. My Hunter has been my main since the start of WoW and I have very few slots for new pets left, and I am sure I am not the only Hunter in this position.

Please consider increasing the pet stable capacity with each expansion going forward.

At what update will classic wrath end, will we get the starting for the cata talent tree in classic wrath or keep the pre cata talents, will we be able to stop at a specif patch or will we be forced to continue into classic cata? I know when classic changed to TBC there was an option to migrate characters will this still be a thing for Wotlk to cata or is it overall forced?

Dragonriding is awsome but something that didn’t quite make sense to me was that the Dragon race “boosters” were only in the dragon races, why not have those ones and others put into places around the world for even more fun exploration to find these wind-burst points and vigor bubbles in the open world?

It was mentioned that guilds will be cross faction now.
I assume this opens the possibility of two members of the same guild having the exact same character name.
If this is possible, is there also a possibility to get rid of the name restriction based on identical names? As in, does it really make sense for me to create a character and have the system reject the name I give it based on “this name is already in use”, if we can now have identical names within a guild?
I’m hoping this update can eliminate this issue, and allow for identical names within the same server, as well as the same guild.

Are we getting permanent Wrath classic servers?

This was asked almost immediately after their 3 expansion reveal before they talked about those details.

The biggest barrier to social play in WoW is cross-faction queuing. I have a set of friends I run Mythic+ with but then when a seasonal event comes around my main character can’t queue with them and there is no instance to go to for it. Unless the holiday event dungeon queue NPC allows this (never tried just thought about it now), and it’s never been mentioned or noted anywhere that I know of.
Will Cross-faction queuing be coming at some point in the next expansion if not at launch?

Hey Blizzard, I have a few questions, if that is alright.

First, is there any chance of being able to create or otherwise play as a troll using an updated version of the Amani and Drakkari troll models?
They already exist within the Horde, as an off-shoot tribe of the Amani, the Revantusk in the Hinterlands, before BFA (I don’t know if they are there currently, but I don’t see why they wouldn’t be). Furthermore, if Zandalar itself is deeply allied with the Horde and is even represented within the horde council I see no reason why it wouldn’t work lore wise.

Second, is there any chance of seeing the demon hunter class expand to more races?
I, for one, think that it would be highly plausible that orcs and draenei could be potentially trained as DHs. Orcs have plenty of unused assets such as the red fel orcs from the Burning Crusade, and the dark fel orcs from Warlords of Draenor. Red Draenei are already playable in the game, along with demon corrupted Sargerei everywhere in Legion, so I think the workload for that one, both lore and system wise would be fairly light.

Lastly, is there any chance of a return of the class hall system, or perhaps more race/faction specific story telling?
These systems wouldn’t even need to be the primary system of story delivery, or be relevant power wise, but their simple presence would do wonders for the overall feeling of each class and race chosen, assuming consistent effort, granted. Rewards could range from glyph-like changes to skills, class specific transmogs or mounts, or simply padding out the activities of the player character during the expansion, say as a little patch bonus questline. I understand that this may be a more labor-intensive concept, but I believe that some quality side stories in each and every expansion would do wonders for player retention and ultimate satisfaction.

I’m sorry for this being a long, nerdy spiel, but sincerely, thanks for your time. I think this whole Q/A is a good look for World of Warcraft. I’m looking forward to the future of Azeroth!

Is the concept of a “WoW 2” being talked about at all?

I feel like after the conclusion of the World Soul Saga would be the ideal time for a sequel to WoW. I realize most current players are heavily invested in WoW 1, through mounts, pets, achievements, titles, etc. but if there was some way of transferring these things to the new game (i.e. the way Overwatch 2 transferred cosmetic unlocks from Overwatch 1, but on a much larger scale of course), this might not be a big deal. I feel that, thanks to Classic WoW, players effectively would still be able to play WoW 1 if they are not fans of the sequel for whatever reason. I also think a “WoW 2” would get a lot more players on board than another expansion, because I think a lot of people who quit the game years ago are hesitant to re-subscribe and buy an expansion for a game that’s 20 years old now.

The other suggestions I have is stop doing world of section craft you should do a active open world.Where every continent from and plain is every changing. The other thing is to do mythic plus from vanilla every raids and dungeons to current dragonflight or war with in.There you can get current item level gear or mounts.it a way to give players a choice on what dungeons or raid they can do.On top just get rid of the weekly vault in it place you just get coins or token you can buy your gear from that goes from pve pvp and the new devels.

Some are instantly critiquing the three expansions as “mini expansions “ since the first one is light on features and just four zones . Add to that the implied faster release cadence … yet you are still pricing these as full expansions?

Can you defend that decision?

With players concerned about the 3-day head start that the Epic Edition of TWW you’ve clarified that Mythics will not be do-able or will not reset for those that get it early compared to those that don’t get Epic Edition (from what I understand).
There’s still the issue of the Economy and those that farm the Herb/Mine nodes. My proposed solution is to make those gathering/crafting items earned in the first 3 days to be “Warbound” so that your account can do what you want with them.
The gathered items will be available to all of your characters.
The crafted items will be available for crafting orders and those crafted in the first 3 days will be “Warbound” as to put some life into the new expansions crafting orders and add a little bit of uniqueness to those that participate in the first 3 days.

When are we getting more demon hunter races? I miss playing my orc ever since warlock lost metamorphosis in Legion. It’d be nice to have the “harnessing demonic power to bolster your own abilities” fantasy back for all the non-elf races that can be warlocks.

Talking about account wide everything, how about Challenge Mode or Dungeon Portals?

Also how about the return of the Mission Table?

For alt Friendliness, except for current-patch-content could quests be given a skip when it stops being current-content?
Seeing my map on my 8th alt littered with quest markers or having NPC’s in slightly different areas (Iskaara Tuskar are in slightly different spots between if you haven’t talked to them yet versus completed everything) gets a little confusing/annoying.
I’ve seen the quests usually up to 3 times already, I don’t care to do it more.
Even some NPCs have moved on and know you’ve been here and done things.

I like the idea of the Hero Talents, but why restrict it to 2 per spec? Why can’t we be able to choose between all of them, for any spec?
It seems like these Hero Talent specs are designed to give us a bit of a boost in certain areas, which sounds like a great way to add a little extra customization, but it seems most beneficial to allow that choice to be between any of the Hero Talent specs, and be able to mix and match them completely freely.

On professions, the Dragonflight update was great aside from Bag-Bloat. The inspiration from FFXIV of quality is okay, but they noted that gathering quality is not good. Please do not carry forward Quality on gathering Items or Consumables. Those two REALLY DO NOT NEED quality attached to them. They consume more bag space than they are worth.
Quality on every other item is fine but some more “mechanics” to crafting like FFXIV would be cool to see too IMO.

As a General question. Have you considered Polling the community. Make a BIG announcement about wanting player feedback on some minor changes throughout TWW and see how engaged the community is on them. Make it known you want to hear from them, have a bottom option of “I do not participate/care if X change happens” to get an even better feeling if some people are only engaging in a system because of the “mandatory” nature/feel of it.

This! When will we see cross faction queues?

With pretty much all other systems getting ready for cross faction interaction, this point specifically would encourage quite a number of my old buddies to sign back up for more casual play.
