Why Not Both Regular and Dragon-Riding on Day 1?
If inclusivity of players with disabilities is a goal of Blizzard’s, then why is regular flight being delayed in The War Within (and any future expansion), while Dragon-riding is available on Day 1?
There is a small percentage of players that can’t dragon-ride due to violent motion sickness, lack of motor control for high-speed flying (arthritis), etc. that puts this group at a disadvantage unless everything in the new zones will be completely accessible from ground mounts. They either un-sub until flying comes, depend on others to get them around, or rough it out on ground mounts (if that’s even possible due to zone accessibility).
The post Second Class Citizens is an example of a forum user in this small minority that would like to play and can’t.

I got a couple questions.
Firstly, regarding the rest of the Class/Race combo roll outs, Druid, Paladin, and Shaman. Will those be finished and available by 11.0? Dragonflight seems to be setting something like that up between the Druid stuff, Primalists, and Tyr stuff.
Second, will Dracthyr get more classes available to them in 11.0? I really don’t think they should be locked to just Evoker post-DF. Really limits the race’s appeal and accessibility.
Thirdly, will we see a new massive customization option dump for the playable races come 11.0, like the start of Shadowlands had, but with more fan-requested options? (Orc/Troll/Forsaken eyebrows, Voidy Void Elf stuff, tattoos, Troll beards, Chaos Orc and OG Blackrock Orc skins, etc)
Lastly, will we be able to make multiple Warband Camps to help organize our characters more, or is it just going to be one camp per account?
Oh, and could we see a Hero Talent chart that has the available specs on it as well?
Good day,
With regards to the Warbands, I have 2 questions:
-
Will transmog collection apply to quest rewards as well as dungeon & raid drops? If yes, will this be retroactively applied to completed quests on the account?
-
Will other dungeon & raids drops (e.g. soulbound recipes) be able to be traded to other Warband characters through the common bank?
Thank you.
Samvimes
I like where this is going, but let me give it a name:
Pandaren Time.
Where we get to see the lore, and there is no hurry.

Sorry I forgot to add, will 2v2s in arena award titles or will you stick to the original version of Cata that was 3s only?
Regarding the Warbands system and how it impacts transmog collection: Will items already in the inventory of characters without the correct armor proficiency prior to the 11.0 pre-patch have their appearances acquired in the same way that we were able to acquire transmog appearances already in our inventories at the time of the 7.0 Legion pre-patch?
Basically, can I go farm an old raid on my warrior, fill his bank with cloth/leather/mail items, and then immediately collect those appearances when 11.0 drops?

It was said at the beginning of Dragonflight that empower spells were an experiment and may be incorporated in to other classes tool kits in the future. Are you satisfied with how empower spells played out and can we expect other classes to have them as well?

Hey, are the Dracthyr going to get new classes in The War Within since you never said they couldn’t learn from their allies? I think it’d be really odd if they couldn’t be Mages or Shamans despite having essences of the blue and black flights respectively.
Oh, and can they also be Hunters? I’ve seen a couple of Dracthyr in Orgrimmar express interest in animals, and since that’s a popular class for beginners, I think it’d be a good idea.
Speaking of classes, I was reading about a Blood Elf Shaman in Catalysm. Can we have more since it was really disappointing to make another character since that’s my favorite Horde race?
On another note, you want dragonriding to be the standard, cool. What about the people who have genuine issues with it? For instance, my computer can barely handle it. And I can’t just rush out for a new device.

Can we farm transmogs for other armor types now and it’ll be learned retroactively with Warbands if we keep the items?

Do you have any plans of doing a world reset that could possibly get all the players come back to retail and generate a lot of interest for the game?
Storyline can be that the “True timeline” will be destroyed by the infinites and everyone is sent back to a time when only Kalimdor and Eastern Kingdoms are discovered. We are not the “heroes” anymore but just an adventurer. No one remembers the events that happened in the future.
Chromie will then be used instead to time travel into the future to access the current world as it is. All mounts and transmog still available for farming. Nothing will be deleted but it would be as if Chromie time will allow you to access the current iteration of the game.
This would also give chance to you guys to retcon and smoothen some storylines. You can build the world and lore back again from the start. Start with the smaller “adventurer level” threats. You can retain and redo as you like with the stories as we get to the main bigger storylines.
Everyone would be interested again with retail. Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor back in the center. New systems, new skills, maybe a bit of graphic update? And the new look would be welcome since we can all say that this is a completely different timeline where the old stuff exist / dont exists
This way we get to keep all our old stuff and reset the world and start WoW again and do the changes / upgrades the devs need to keep the game fresh.
I hope you guys can read this. Not really a question but more like a suggestion. I will pay any amount of money to the game if this happens.
Sincerely,
A Warcraft fan since Warcraft 2.
Gonna put all non-leather “unlearned” items in my void storage just in case.
re Honor System and revamps
The first time Blizz ever revamped the honor point system - long, long ago - They turned my honor points into coinage, not enough of it to repair gear twice, and called it a day.
I had hundreds of HKs (okay, wasnt a terribly prolific PVPer, but i did well when I bothered) and being told all my honor points weren’t even worth a trip to the pawn shop -
it was so EMBARRASSING i stopped PVPing for years.
Whatever we do for honor - can we do better by it now? “the war within” is pretty real for some.
Since the release of patch 10.1 Blizzard has made it impossible to target loot from specific bosses in raid to drop from your personal vault by adding the loot drops to the of all the bosses before that encounter even if u never killed them.
With that tech in place and there are many guilds who raid on a short schedule there becomes a point where those guild continue to extend the raid lockout until the end boss dies, which means the Raid Row of the Vault becomes useless at a point to them since no mythic gear will drop because they only kill 1 new boss per week or maybe not even a new boss for several weeks.
With 1 boss kill in the 1st slot only being required those guilds get the opportunity to get a vault roll on the loot that they desperately still need from those early bosses they never get to see again when they finally get that new boss defeated.

Will the crafting order system be dropped in the new expansion??
Or revamped so sellers can post their soulbound crafts?
UI Improvements wise I’m eager for increased customization so I can do away with certain UI reskins.
Any plans for 3d portrait options?
Any plans to increase the number of available action bars?
Any plans to be able to adjust bar size independently?

Will we be getting a conclusion to the Elune storyline or finding out who/what Elune finally is?

Will Mist of Pandaria/Warlords Challenge mode rewards become accountwide with the new warbands feature (having all class transmog instead of just the one you did it with) ?
Will Mythic+ Portals become accountwide as well ?
And is there any plan (as vaguely mentionned in an earlier Q&A) to change mythic raid format to allow smaller groups of friends to be able to access the hardest PVE content.

This is a very good point. DF zones are not made for ground travel. The entire xpac will need to be accessible without dragonriding.
DF being the intro xpac for new players would be a big concern if that’s the case when 11.0 comes around if regular flight is not enabled from the start while leveling.
