Subject: Unable to Access Battle.net Support

Hey Blizzard Support,

One of our guild members is currently locked out of their Battle.net account due to an authenticator issue. They received an email from a GM (Paholas) asking them to respond with account verification details, but the email is from a non-reply address, making it impossible to reply directly. The message instructs them to paste their response into the ticket, but they cannot access their account to do so—they’re stuck in a loop.

They’ve already attempted:

Checking their email for any alternate contact methods.
Logging into Battle.net, but the authenticator prevents access.
Replying via email (but it’s a no-reply address).
Since they can’t log in to submit the required information, is there any way for them to resolve this without access to their ticket? Would a live chat or another support channel be an option?

Any help would be appreciated! They just want to recover their account.

Thanks!

This would be better addressed in customer service - you can move it there by editing the post using the pencil icon.

That being said, going to https://us.battle.net/support/en/help/contact/1369/ticket and selecting “I can’t login” and entering another ticket that references the first ticket number and contains the requested information is the general advice.

This right here is the answer. Your friend needs to use the “can’t login” path to open a new ticket, include the first ticket number for reference, then answer the questions as best they can.

That is unfortunately how they have to do it if they don’t have a Bnet account to access. As long as they include that first ticket number, and any subsequent ones, that lets the GMs keep track of their correspondence. I do wish your friend success in getting access to their account again.
