Shoes is right.

Sub is in a dark and sad place right now. If you want to defend current sub for role play reasons that is fine.

But current Sub is fisher price in design as well as many other specs and classes in BFA.

Rogue overall isn’t in a particularly good place in Ny’alotha. All the other melee classes don’t need to swap specs and even talents in some cases to effectively do ST or AOE or Cleave. And when rogues do swap to the damage style required, the data shows that they still don’t get on the level of other melee.

Any niche a Rogue can fill can be more effectively filled by a Warrior or DH atm. Cloak not removing 80% of the debuffs in NYA and being relegated to an immune to damage means the niche shrinks further with iceblock, bubble, netherwalk, turtle, all being available to classes that do more versatile damage.

Mages and Hunters I have no problem with their damage being so strong, they are a pure class, it’s the Warriors and DHs leaving rogues in the dust that feels wrong.

It feels like rogue damage is proportional to the perceived utility, the value of which continues to shrink.

And Sub, well, poor Sub, see you in SL.

Sure you don’t have to read it’s your right. Just as much as it is his to voice his concerns.

The only choice you guys have is to like the comment, comment on the opinion, or ignore it entirely, but if you want to try to argue with him that’s also you choosing to entertain it and engage. So you can’t really be upset about what he has to say.

Sub has become a meme for WoW players. Like it or not, no one will seriously test the spec unless they enjoy it.
These players make the game unbearable. Only ‘top-performing’ specs are acknowledged or accepted to high-end despite the reality that Blizzard has been internally balancing all specs no matter what.
Inclusion of Corruption very much makes Sub viable.
But the elite of WoW refuse to actually be open-minded to logic and instead subscribe to parses rather than realization that the spec doesn’t have any representation so parses aren’t going to categorially prove anything other than ‘their’ point that the spec is bad.

Elite WoW player logic: “No one plays it so it’s bad hurr durr hurr”

Im enjoying Subt rogue. Its different. I also enjoy watching people decimate in pvp.
