Sub not processing with mastercard

so how longs it going to take . usually send my email a receipt straight away

It can take up to 24 hours.

In most cases, even while the subscription is processing, assuming it passes the initial checks, you should have access to the game. From what I can see, Claret, the several attempts you have made have failed.

The error I’m seeing is that there aren’t enough funds available, so I would start there. Assuming there are funds available, you may also try to completely remove the method of payment you are using and adding it back. If the issue persists, try submitting a ticket, using Live Chat, and see if our Billing folk can give you more information.

thanks it said thankyou like it received payment even says I have the sub already I place gave me some USinsertnumbers here blue link I can get it if it’s a must.

oh ye soon as I removed my same detailed card before it said it was cancelled the SUB so now what. I got no more monies to give only had 25$ in the bank

ok this is the latest said I purchased sub then it said it was frozen I need to update payment method so I removed my card pretty much added the same details . so… I got a headache I don’t need this cr@p doing my head in! …{i don’t care} about all the work & characters time and money at end of the day. can this be rectified or what.? or find a competent company. cant even reply properly. omg ^^ can you’s hurry up and participate so I can actually reply. omg then it said the sub was cancelled so ye…I got no more monies to give ya only kept 25$ in this bank

The issue though Claret is that your card doesn’t have the funds needed. That’s not really something that Blizz can help with. If you say that there should be $25, then you’ll want to reach out to your bank.

If you tried multiple times, then each time you tried your bank would be attempting to hold those funds which has likely run your account into the red.

Here’s hoping you can work things out with the bank, as it’s really not a Blizzard issue.

had the funds they deducted got the receipt emailed then followed that said it was frozen so updated details then it said it was cancelled after removing card ..and that’s it.

What you saw was your bank putting a hold on your funds (standard banking process). They’re not actually removed from your bank immediately. They get removed after the financial institutions clear everything up, such as multiple tries etc. They want to make sure you’re only charged for one and not multiple attempts.

But from what Vrak said, the charge came back as insufficient funds :frowning: That’s something you can really only work out with your bank.

Please watch the language, Claret, which includes inappropriate language in an acronym. I understand the frustration but losing your posting privileges won’t help anything.

Additionally, editing a post does not provide any kind of notification to those reading the thread. We generally won’t see and be able to respond if you are editing in new information as you did with this post.

As for the funds, if they are held due to the previous purchase attempts, they should be released within 3-5 business days, depending on your bank. You may want to reach out to them to see if they have any restrictions on your purchases.

Alternately, if you are having trouble with setting up a sub, you may try purchasing a Game Time card through the shop.

ye ok well not helping the situation, specifically 25$ was put in the bank for this sub. so now what! waiting game? you deducted the money at some stage said update my details cause you frozes the sub, so I go ahead and update the details {with pretty much the same details) then you say its cancelled this on your end man not a good look.

They did not. Hence the failed message.

They put in a request for the funds (the hold that Perl mentioned, known industry-wide as a pre-authorization), but only the bank can actually do anything with the finances in those accounts.

If you want the bank to return your money faster, talk with them.

It isn’t in Blizzard’s best interest to intentionally make things difficult like this, believe me. Until your bank returns your money (even though it isn’t technically gone yet, it’s just how their systems work), Blizzard isn’t able to do anything.

I got the receipt to gmail account pretty much the one I use here qote " you successfully started a world of Warcraft subscription -1 month sent 11:06am AEST

You successfully started a
World of Warcraft® Subscription - 1 Month ![World of Warcraft® Subscription - 1 Month

Welcome to Azeroth, Michael

A World of Warcraft® Subscription - 1 Month has been added to your World of Warcraft account in the Americas & Oceania region. (contained link and images I couldn’t post) pfft

But you need to understand that your payment eventually didn’t clear. The email doesn’t guarantee that Blizz gets the money from your bank, it only confirms that you tried to setup a subscription.

You also then removed the card from your account, which wouldn’t really help matters. As Vrak mentioned above, if you don’t want to keep an active subscription, there’s always the option to just purchase a block of time. It’s possible that would have been more successful for you.

yep ol that’s why I just checked the atm just now got back lol 8.96$ in there when there was 25.46$ there where’d it go lol like a fart in the wind huh? just gone…lol it will sought itself out I sure don’t expect me to do much about till the money gets back or whatever ill go play skyrim onlime till then

laters have a good run.

Held funds aren’t gone, they are simply held by your bank in anticipation of a requested purchase. If that purchase fails or otherwise does not complete those funds are returned to the account.

How long that takes is entirely dependent upon your financial institute. Hopefully it won’t take too long. Good luck, Claret!

ye sweeet ok just a waiting game then …thanks.

While you’re waiting, this is something I would inquire with your bank for, and likely the explanation behind the insufficient funds note Vrak found. This indicates that only $16 was available at the time of attempted purchase.

Otherwise the total should be close to or exactly zero.

The math works, based on the purchase and currency. If the purchase failed the funds held would leave that much is the original total was 25.46.

Just got back from Westpac they lodged a dispute ( I didn’t ask for that she just did it) apparently Blizzard entertainment got the money or need to get around to redirecting it… good luck with that!
Thanks for the inconvenience.

Now I’m starting to think that there are details being omitted.

I will say that chargebacks do not end well for the player, especially if there was no money gained to begin with. Until you pay that back, you won’t have access to your license at all.

Time will tell in a few days, I suppose.

Unless they are referring to the payment in November, Claret, no, we haven’t. The purchases failed. I’m not sure who you may be speaking to, but it feels like they don’t understand how held funds work. I am sorry for the frustration this may be causing, but this is something you need to discuss with Westpac.
