During the current TW event, the quest item didn’t drop from the last boss of my first dungeon. I pissed and moaned in guild chat, googled for an hour, and finally put in a ticket. I kept seeing other people get them, and was getting more and more frustrated.
I have Bagnon installed. I finally clicked the item and saw I had it in my bank, apparently from never turning it in during the last TW dungeon.
Oh, also, during Wrath, we won Wintergrasp and had pugged a VoA raid. I was in a pretty hardcore progression guild at the time, and the GM and most of the loot council were in this pug group with me. It’s late, I had been no-lifing pretty hard, and I fell asleep with my hand on the keyboard while we were waiting to pull the fire dude. Ran right into him and died. GM said it was the funniest thing he had seen in a while, lol.

I’ve asked for customer support for something that was right in my face.
No need to put in a ticket but I did like a dork.
I’ve done that twice that I recall, since 2011 so I guess it’s not that bad.
Good thing is, they were always kind to me.
Ingame, I’ve done a lot of stupid stuff. This year, the one that I remember is queuing for a bg too fast so I was Q’d for dps but I wanted tank because I’d changed spec to blood but didn’t change that so I get into the bg and can’t figure out why I can’t use my spells, etc…
The funny thing was that group went so bad that one of the best players said “I’m surprised any of you could figure out how to queue up”.
I thought that was funny.

Lied about my gender to my first 2 WoW friends because I felt like admitting that I was a guy playing a female character would be awkward. Lost contact with them eventually, never told them.
Still play female characters. Can’t stand how male characters look in WoW. I make sure to keep things clear if IRL comes up at all now though. I was 15 when this happened, it’s been a little over a decade.
Actually did run into one of those friends by sheer chance in a random dungeon on an alt when my SO called me by my main’s name, and the old friend recognized it and chimed in. Still didn’t keep in contact, I didn’t really know them anymore, but it was kinda neat. Like, what are the chances?
I entered a BfA hero dungeon thinking I was in queue for Lord Ahune.

Back a long time ago, while running Kara with my guild. The staff dropped for me from the curator and I sharded it instead of enchanting it.
I got it restored with some begging the next day. This was before you could have items easily restored.
