Well this was in Classic WoW recently in ZG.
So I was doing alot of Raiding/M+ as an arcane mage in BfA.
So go on after been doing stuff and pull agro off the tank during the Hakkar fight. Used my Arcane Power, trinket and BOOM dead. (I was speced Arcane Frost)
That was the stupidest thing I’ve done in Classic and WoW period.
Now for the stupidest thing I have done outside of Classic…
Accidentally posting a TCG pet on the AH with a 0 missing… forget which one but was going to post it for 300k but posted it for 30k… not even 1 second after posting it was bought (Likely by those who are using heavily automated auction sniping addons).

Saying to myself that drums are fine on my actionbar since its on ctrl+9 yet always doing the mistake of using one randomly … once hero’d at the AH … not sure what my brain wanted … Its not on my actionbar anymore .
Coming back to BFA hoping the fix a mop old bug with killing spree putting you under the world map …stupid thing to hope would’ve been fixed by now .

T-That’s pretty bad, idk if I could even come close to topping that.
I have done so many stupid things in WoW that it’s really hard to pick a “stupidest” one. Still, this was pretty dumb:
I was playing a druid and flying my sister around on the drake from Vial of the Sands (forget what it’s called). We were collecting some kind of holiday stuff like candy buckets or something like that where you have to go all over the place.
Anyway, this was when CRZ (or maybe it was sharding) was new and frequently things bugged when you crossed into a new zone. We were pretty high up when I flew into a new zone, and I lost my mount. My sister got a parachute, but I plummeted for several seconds before hitting the ground and dying. On a druid.

Naming this character. Stupid 15 year old me at the time couldn’t spell Hammer correctly 
I spelled it as Hamor this characters name was supposed to say Hammeron but since I was an idiot it turned out as Hamoron but it is very fitting cus I was a moron not knowing how to spell hammer. Now I like to look at this name directed at me to remember my Moronic mistake lol

In mop i bought the wrong spec’s set piece 
and they won’t help you get the right one, it was supposed to be a four set too.

My husband first got me into WoW right after BfA released and I was leveling an Alliance BDK with him in warmode. Saw a Horde player. Went into red = dead mode. Attacked. Realized they were max level. We were level 80. WHOOPS. I ran (lumbered) away from that dude for a good 5 minutes before I finally gave up and let him kill me all while yelling SORRY across the room at my hubby who was rolling his eyes at me.

Honestly the dumbest thing I’ve ever done involving WoW was falling for one of those gold giveaways a long time ago and giving some random person my account information, just to log in the next day with all of my toons naked in front of mail boxes.
Unbeknownst to them, I was bad at the game, and barely had a gold between all of my characters so it was a huge waste of their time.

I remember thinking Alliance Paladins had Heroism and Horde Shamans had Bloodlust.
Was corrected during an AQ mog run. Back when a lot of people were still needed. Eheh.
So… judging an entire server based on 1 weird town. Yeah, I’d say that fits the thread’s theme.
giving someone 500g as a ‘thanks for trying’ after i offered them 20k to run me through mythic Tomb of sarg & antorus… they couldnt make it past the first boss in tomb… the goblin has taken over and now i wish i didnt give them anything
