What specialization doesn’t have a stun and root ability? Yes, this is a serious question. I actually want to know.
Are you asking one or the other? Lots of specs don’t have roots. One of the only specs without a stun is probably disc priest and mages
Ret doesnt have roots and its slows are useless.
Enh doesnt have a reliable stun other than cap and sundering incap
Mages have no stuns

Disc priest, fire mage, and arcane mage are the only specs without stuns.
Death knight, rogue, warlock, paladin, dh do not have roots.
90% slow might as well be a root.

Sure, and shadowfury and cap stun are extremely unreliable as well, but I wasn’t sure exactly what OP was asking and why, so I addressed it in the literal sense as opposed to pragmatically
You are supposed to project cap stun onto the target, not place it next to them and pray they dumb enough to not kill it or simply move away.
I’m entirely familiar with cap totem and how it works, dude.
OP asked a question and I answered it literally.
I didn’t expand further on the nuances of what classes/specs have and why/why not or pragmatic applications because that’s a MUCH bigger conversation.

The real question is who doesnt have a copy of ursols vortex and who will get one next. we have been experiencing multiple expacs worth of ursols vortex creep, and are on track for every class to have at least 1 copy of it by 2026. and some classes will be able to snap it for 2 back to back.

I’m in the waiting room for Song of Chi-Ji to be baseline and become a sleep walk clone and Ring of Peace being in a choice node for Vortex of Peace (Ring of War?)
Ever since 11.0, it seems like more than half the specs have an ability that allows them to literally walk through Ring of Peace.
At this point I would gladly trade Paralysis and RoP for a Fear ability.

Spriest calls dibs on some type of shadowy Sharknado type deal. I mean you can replace the sharks with bats or ravens or rats if you want it a little more thematically correct, but the concept is now ours.
Ultimate “let me breathe dude, GET OFF ME” button. Enemies dont even have to run through it or near it to activate. Just wherever it gets placed, anything within 35yds of the eye is sucked in and held there as healthbars wither away.
You might have DR’d it with WDP knock up. It’s weird you can RoP into WDP knock up but not the other way around. 
Might as well just make ring of peace also have a 1 second pulsing aoe death grip that causes everybody’s PCs to explode. its what we’re on track for anyway

Did herald of the sun Dot passive 50% slow that you can’t even shapeshift on a druid, undispellable and doesn’t need to be reapplied after a freedom or snare suppression ends, get nerfed while I wasn’t paying attention?
I’d settle for that but what I would really want is that if I press ring of peace again while it’s active, I mind control everyone inside
