I have 10 stacks of a debuff called “Creeping doubt” on this character, Imaa-Nesingwary. I have had it for more than a week. It will not go away. It keeps ticking back and forth from 3s to 4s left. It causes 50% increased damage, and is bloody annoying to look at to boot.
I put in a bug report, but nothing happened. I tried to put in a ticket, but none of the choices I was offered let me tell anyone what was wrong. I tried choosing “character can’t move” in the hope that having a GM move her would remove the debuff, but it didn’t work.
How am I supposed to get this fixed? How can I put in a ticket to tell someone what the problem is? My only choices are not applicable. What happened to the option of actually writing out one’s problem?
Please, please help me!
Does the debuff persist through death?
Have you had a Paladin bubble you? That should purge harmful effects off you.
If you want I can grab my Alliance Paladin and see if we can use Hand of Protection to get it off.

This generally means that what you want to ticket for is not something a GM can help with. Contrary to popular belief, they aren’t there to help with everything and everything. They have policies set by the devs that dictate what they can and can’t do.
If it persists through death, I’m reading some players say that doing the encounter again makes it go away.

Dying should solve this handily. Just take your gear off, jump off a cliff, and when you rez, you should be good.

Okay. I thought I had died at least once since the Debuff, but I’ll give it a try and see what happens. Thanks!
Edit: It worked. I guess I was wrong about having died to the debuff. Thanks again for your help guys!
