Aside from resetting my password (support article solution)which I do not want to do, are there any other fixes?
I can post on the forums via the app using chrome on my phone, but on desktop/chrome I’m kinda stuck with a “you need a level 10” to post on the forums message and when I try to change forum characters, all that pops up is my Bnet.
Password change didn’t work.
Thanks for letting me know I could change it right back.
Cache/data didn’t work.
Incognito didn’t work.
I’ll go ahead and post in Website Bug Report Forum and just hope it changes back.
It’s randomly done it before, so fingers crossed it fixes itself, again.

Funny thing, decided to try go to the forums via Google search instead of using my bookmark, logged in and an actual character appeared and I got excited until I realized I was over on the EU forums! So it’s just US forums giving this issue, for me.

I am having the same issue on my Mac… can’t select any character to post with.
Can only post from my phone.

Having the same issue. Chrome on desktop entirely incapable of character selection and defaulting to my bnet account, and my mobile is only working because the character was defaulted thankfully. Zero characters in the list even on mobile.

i’m having the exact same issue. Just started happening about three hours ago. I’ve been logged in for six weeks now without a problem. I went through and cleared out cash cookies in history on three different browsers. I’ve tried on PC to login using Firefox, chrome, and opera GX. The only place I seem to be able to still access. The forums is through mobile. I keep getting an error telling me I need a level 10 character or higher or an active account to be able to post. Anyone that’s able to see my account can see that I’ve been active for the better part of 15 years on this account and have only run into this problem once before. Somehow it cleared itself up within 24 hours so I didn’t pursue it. Hopefully there’s something that can be done to prevent this from happening in the future.

Yeah on all browsers except ‘BRAVE’ the forums are on my btag with the “You must have a level 10 character or higher to post” etc …
On said-Brave browser, it seems the forums randomly switched me over to my shaman without even prompting such and then hid the entirety of my characters list; only showing the option to switch to said-bnet profile as well now (which I’m guessing won’t let me post if I select such), lol
Guess I’m mostly a shaman poster now?

Just now, I clicked “change character” and all my characters showed up but wouldn’t actually change it, I logged out and back in and I can post on this character again!

Yes, It’s happened to me a few times. I did put in a bug report and got back an answer that they are aware of the problem, and to just try logging in several times a day.
I also did the password switch the first time before knowing it was a continuous problem. At this point I think I just will be very careful and not log out. I also keep getting the “You must have a level 10 character or higher to post” even though I clearly have a lot of characters over level 10.
Even if my character level or transmog stays out of date, I am not logging out or switching characters for the time being.

I can see my characters list in the switch profile prompt of the forums, however I can’t select any of the said-characters to change over.
Chrome still has me on the bnet profile, unable to comment with the “You must have a level 10 character” etc — but Brave still has me on my shaman, which I still can’t switch from.
