I was running Zul’Gurub earlier today and one of the spirits that you need to drag over to break the chains died before I was able to get him over to the chains.
The other 3 spirits were already dead so now my main is stuck in there. I can’t die, I can’t hearth, and the entrance is locked.
How am I supposed to get out now?
If staying logged off the affected character(s) for about 30 minutes does not correct the issue, then you can use the automated service here on the website to have the system relocate your character to a safer location. You may need to ALT-F4 if you are unable to log out normally.

Just hit CONTINUE to go to the page listing your characters. Then choose the affected character and it will automatically be moved.
Just be aware it can take a few minutes for the page to load as it has to populate a list of all your characters.

Well, I’ve had something like this before. The only way out is to jump into the water and drown your toon.
You should be able to stay logged out for about 20-30mins to have a soft reset happen.
You can also try the stuck character service.

Thank You Kyzera, Zenjy, and Jeysca for your replies. I will wait a bit before logging back in. Hopefully, I will get booted out.
If not, then I will try the unstuck method.
Update: I waited about 45 minutes before logging back yesterday and I was booted out of the instance.
