I want to get into my second bnet (same name as this one but ends in @icloud.com) but I’m stuck in a loop.
It wants the authenticator code. Well, I can’t give it an authenticator code because I haven’t logged into it in so long that it’s not sync’d anymore. Try to sync it but it wants to send me an SMS code to a phone number I no longer have. Those are the only two options I have: an authenticator I can’t get into or a phone that’s gone forever.
So I try to open a ticket under this bnet but the options won’t let me go forward. Tried to pick “category isn’t listed here” (because it’s not) but the webpage won’t let me use that option. Tried one of the other categories like “remove authenticator” but it wants to remove it from this account.
So I’m not sure where to go at this point. I want to just delete that bnet (the one ending in @icloud.com).
BTW - the time since you’ve been logged in should have nothing to do if an authenticator is sync’d or not. Yes, it’s possible for them to before desync’d (mainly physical ones) but it’s not because of not being logged in.
When Live chat is open, that is also an option you may try, the icon will light up.
I saw that you were able to open a ticket, but if they can’t synchronize your accounts that way, or if your trying to synchronize your accounts…
Can you still log into the old battle net account on the Blizzard Website? Or do you have access to the the old email that you used? I’m not sure how how the authenticator works so pardon my question, but if you don’t need it to log into the account on the internet, then you can start there.
If you can log into the account on Blizzard start by changing your email to the current one and update any information that you have on it, to match the current information on the account that you are using now. Then when I put in the ticket to combine them the information matched up and it made retrieving it easier.
It helped me to get my older account added to this one, after I had lost it, and had not logged in for a long time.
