There seems to be a hole in the room by Duzalgor. Twice I went there to pick up potion, twice I fell through. I already used the stuck character to move Wasntme a few minutes ago and when I went back, I thought it was a fluke but it happened again and I fell through the hole again! The hole was not visible but when I got there I fell through and I can’t do anything until the stuck character is off 8 hours timer.
This is asinine that I have to wait 8 hours before I can play Wasntme. Because some indie company forgot to check every nook and cranny for missed bugs.
I think I found the exact spot. Just behind the potion, when I stepped in there I fell through. And now Nerrus can’t be played for 8 hours. >_< because I already used the stuch character around 15 minutes ago to remove Wasntme the first time.
Seriously what is the point of 8 hours lockout on stuck character and no way to contact GM for extra stuck character moves? Because when you get stuck due to bug and the service is on timer, you’re screwed for the rest of the afternoon
The point is to make sure that it cannot be abused or exploited as a form of quick hearth and such things. Most MMORPGs that I play have similar cooldowns on their stuck services for exactly the same reasons.
I didn’t see the option to open ticket. I looked through the help and other than the 8 hours wait timer, other options I saw weren’t useful for stuck character. The best I found was this page: ~https://imgur.com/EQTgQ0B but I don’t have problem with email and there’s no contact link anywhere.
I tried help on the web site at https://us.battle.net/support/en/help/product/wow and the few links I got for stuck character tells me to try in game stuck character service. I must have gone through 30 useless “try in game service” or “try different option” before I finally found a way to open a ticket. Why so convoluted? I remember the last time I had a real bad stuck character issue, I was able to open ticket right in the game within seconds.
There is an option for ticketing here: https://us.battle.net/support/en/article/10581 But the reason there’s usually not a ticket option is due to the sefl service option. It cuts down on ticket times when people have a self service. But it’s not usual for someone to end up in the same predicament, so then we take the next step, which is to come here when you can’t find an option and we can help get you to the correct ticketing. We try our best!
It worked for our OP, as well. As they said, they fell through a second time and the self service is on cooldown, so a ticket had to be created, which was resolved.
