Stuck at renown 19 after switching covenants

i am also stuck at renown 19 for like 4 days now after switching covenants over a week ago

Same here I switched more than a week ago. Eversince I have been playing catch up and what is pissing me off is that they took that Emblem of Renown away

My advice would be do not complete the upcoming weekly quests (1000 anima + lost souls) until you have reached the current max renown cap (renown 21) from catch-up renown only. Once you’ve reached renown 21, you’re back on track and fine to do the weekly quests.

Hey so I was stuck at 14, I gave up totally, and so I went to sleep. When I woke up I was 17… then I got stuck at 19 and gave up… then on my 7th run of necrotic wake i got a renown drop… so it is not gauranteed… and whats weird is on my other alt I never got stuck period.

EIDT: uhm… why does it say Im a 45 rouge called Zopax? Who the hell is that? im leathan…

Yeah, I switched around twice in one week and it did all sorts of funky stuff. There just seems to be a daily limit (at least on my character) for earning renown. I did all the things, was progressing fine, but then nothing would drop any renown (Mythic+, PvP, Rated PvP, Raid, nothing) for the rest of the day.

It happened more than once, too, when the renown cap was 24ish. I think I got “stuck” at renown 12, and 17, and the final one or two, but those last two are probably because of the weekly quests. I just went to bed and was able to get more renown the next day.

It’s awkward for sure, not having any concrete answers from Blizz on this. The system works, sorta, but there are a lot of frustrating, unanswered questions.

Yeah now im stuck again at 23… Honestly if anyone from blizzard reads this, its a horrible experience to go through, just give us something or atleast tell us your working on the bug becasue at this point if its not a bug, it should be labeled one.

EDIT: Again i went to sleep at 23 and woke up 25, annoying to say the least, very.

Completely stopped getting renown from anything once i hit 19

I think I ran into this bug still as well. I Have been stuck since 19 relying only on the daily calling and campaign quests to continue with no renown drops from multiple sources.

Currently I’m at 21 and the next campaign wants 22. It’s really slowed down hard without the catch up drops.

They destroyed the drop rate when you get within 10, to pretty much make you crawl to the finish line over a few weeks and even then it’s mostly LFR that helps you see the finish line, It’s a trash system simply how the end of it plays out.
It’s not a catch up system, it’s a get 10 or so free to feel good, and then neuter your progress so hard, you might as well just forget about deterministically progressing system.
