seems possible – it doesnt seem to be effecting friends of mine on the east coast and elsewhere (im west coast)

I’m on the Southeast coast at the moment, so that tracks. Illidan is hosted in Chicago, so maybe a route in from the West is causing it.

tried a vpn connecting from chicago and it logs in fine so it definitely is a routing/isp issue for me at least. hope this helps others as well

This is not an illidan only problem, I haven’t been able to get past “Logging in to game server” for 3 hours now, unable to login from ANY version of the game or other bnet games, and unable to access bnet website at all. Like Shad said, though, I could login if I use mobile data or a vpn just fine. West Coast too for what it’s worth

edit: also wanted to add that my internet is working perfectly on anything that isn’t battle net related

i’m located in SF (main server blackrock) and having the login issue.

Blizzard won’t be able to address a node outside their own network, so it’s best to alert the ISP in this case.

im also near sf, so it seems like something that is somewhat west coast oriented (maybe their auth server close to us failed or something)

i’m on Sonic (based in SF) and looks like they identified it is an issue between Sonic and Battle.net and they are working to correct it as soon as possible. Blizzard appears to have a routing problem with a specific Sonic subnet. This was back at like (edit 3:49pm pst) though on the Sonic forums so not sure when it will be resolved

I live overseas and I’m playing on NA, STILL not able to log in unless using a VPN which puts me at 300ms. I’m starting to get incredibly tilted.

use vpn it fixed my problem until otherwise
