How do you play without weakauras when the group’s strategy is to use it for assignments because it’s the easiest way to assign people?
Install ELVUI and Details and that’s like 95% of what you would want.

But? there’s 20 people to assign, based on a random debuff that they get.
How does a raid leader assign all 20 people without the aid of weakauras?

Learn the fight, stop using add ons to do the work for you.
I understand how dumb the average player is. I’ve seen them fail at simple tasks. I’ve watched people kill themselves over and over because they refused to stop for a moment and think. THOSE people need add ons. If you’re so stupid you can’t figure it out on your own, by all means keep using the crutch. It’s better for your raid team that you continue to use it.
People with working brains don’t need it.
Or it’s your defense mechanism after realizing you got dismantled in a disagreement. Could be either one.

How do you consistently assign people then even if you know the fight?
Y’all really would have a much stronger logical foundation if you’d just stop imposing what you don’t know on other people

You do know Blizzard has had tools in the game, right from the beginning. Stuff like setting up raid groups, dropping markers and even marking players/mobs, etc. You don’t need WeakAura’s or DBM to use Discord to tell people what to do or to use any of the in-game tools already provided.

How would using all those tools help? 10 different spots, and the place you need to be depends on the debuff that you have.
And let’s give you six seconds to get in position.
This is a complete waste of time, unfortunately.
This happens to be a particular group of GD users who believe they know what they’re talking about because they’re incapable of accepting the reality that they don’t have to know everything.
I don’t know everything about CE raiding because I don’t do it, so I don’t believe I should offer an input. Unfortunately, other people do. Idk what malfunction is occurring in that logical process, but it’s not one you or I can solve.

Back in my day, we learned the fight ourselves. If we failed to get into position, we died and learned a lesson so the next time it didn’t happen.
You kids these days require everything to be done for you.
