Streamer had chat mass report me: now account is silenced

Ever wander why Blizzard does tuning after a AWC pvp tournament? They tune and base the classes off the .01%. Would explain why Blizzard devs and their friends guilds tune the mythic raids for their world first tournaments, then nerf it all down so the player base can play the content.

I dont know the full OPs story since I was not there, but I would not be surprised that if a big streamer says he dislikes a player, complains to “friends” and things happen.

Reading your comments, let’s just say I’m not surprised you got silenced.

Good, nice to see people that deserve silences are getting them then.

Doesn’t matter. There are not different rules for PVP enviroments. You broke the rules and were punished for it, rightly so.

I wish wow was as serious about the rampant Botting, as they are for bad language lol.

1 week for the f* bomb? you got off easy.

-insert rookie numbers pump them up meme-

if they truly did “mass report” you made it easy by cursing.

It was wise to delete this. Just move on and learn a lesson from this.

Ain’t got nothing to do with brigading. A single report would have gotten you silenced.

100% wrong.

You mean to say, in the last 20 years of playing WoW, I’ve never been reported once? Because if I had, I would’ve been silenced?

It’s laughable for anyone to think they’ve never been reported, especially pvpers.

First thing, posting here does nothing for you unless you are looking for sympathy from others, but you probably will not get it.

Unless the whole chat was in that BG they would not have been able to report you unless you had a conversation with them elsewhere in the game.
If they sent you whispers and you responded they could report you from there.

The reports are reviewed.
If you were mass reported unjustly, they will see that and remove your silence.
They will also retaliate against those that mass reported you because they can see that too.
If you were justifiably reported, you will be silenced for a short term.
If you do it multiple times, you will eventually see a ban.

According to blizzzard, this is not extremely mild. You were silenced because of your series of counter attacks.

Ok this is enough to get the silence no matter who reported you.

And if they see you said what you claim to have said then you will still be silenced.
Not sayin its right but the moderation isnt what it used ot be. Its heavy now.

There is a difference between doing nothing wrong and getting mass reported because of a streamers chat and doing something that is clearly against the tos and getting mass reported. This is not the former

Go to the CS forum and read half the posts there. They go over how it works all the time when people say they were banned for nothing.

I personally am a believer that if someone comes @ me I’m going to go @ them harder.

Especially if it’s for no real reason like the op.

Report the streamer with proof and they’ll get banned, along with the ppl who reported.

No judgement from me, but I’m a big believer in not losing any time or features on the account that I’ve paid money to use. To each their own.
