Strange Disconnect issue

are you able to tell anything from my WinMTR test? i am still having this issue andi feel like it started since the new patch.

If you mean this winMTR by Peebioh,
I’d look at the hope I quoted here, where your slowest response hops to 473ms.

Happening to me to on Barthilas. It happened right after I invited a few people from different realms to do a world quest. Might be worthy to note i randomly disconnected before I even logged into my character.

can you tell anything from mine?

Same thing on the third hop. You have a spike of 345 ms. That’s what your first or 2nd isp hop.

anyone have any suggestions? i tried everything i could from the blue post

should i worry about that one? not really sure what to think anymore. i updated drivers and my internet connection seems fine for everything else

That one’s in blizzards peering network… I don’t know enough about how that works.

I have seen blues say that any problem obv the way shows up there, but don’t know why, or how.

Just happened again mid world quest, on a Warmode shard (with PvP happening in the area)

And happened yet again.

Same thing, similar trace results. Weird. Other sites and games seem fine… Anyone got an update?

Sesroh,

I checked your winMTR - looks like we missed your reply so sorry about that! Did you catch a disconnection with this test running? It looks fine. If you didn’t, let’s try running the winMTR and catching a disconnect red handed.

If you reply directly to this post using the reply button in the bottom right when you post it, it’ll notify me so I can get to you faster.

i can try again but i think that was during a ā€œdcā€. chat worked fine and was able to do a readycheck but my toon was unable to cast/interact

I’ve been having the same issue, I did end up making my own thread about it and I’ve posted my WinMTR reports in there. I’m additionally having Comcast come out and check my house out as well tomorrow in case they find something.

Guessing it might be internet when i did tonight but it felt close to other issues

I came to report that this issue started to happen to me tonight during a mythic+ run. I will try to provide some internet diagnostics if the problem remains.

Yea, what you want to do is plug your computer straight into the modem and bypass the router see if the issue improves or stays the same. Looks like you are getting 74% loss from your router which carries through all the way down.

I also have had problems like this for a long time. I thought when you fixed the Oceanic problems it would fix it for me but it unfortunately didn’t. I guess it didn’t effect me because I play from the United Kingdom. This hop seems to be the problem one. et-0-0-2-br01-eqch2.as57976.net - 1 1442 1435 115 127 3079

Strangely for me this happens mostly when I am in instances, I have the problem in a warfronts, raids and expeditions mostly. I am usually alright in the outside world although this isn’t always the case.

Yeah, I’m going to agree that whatever is happening here is between your PC and router. Let’s try wiring in to the router if you’re using wifi, and bypassing it if that fails. If neither gives you any love you may need to replace the router.
