I was putzing around Stormheim a few days ago and just generally enjoying myself when something dawned on me about Odyn and his Halls of Valor.
Odyn and his Valarjar, have a lot in common with Sigmar and his Stormcast Eternals. I wonder if Blizz took some inspiration from that. Or if I’m just that obessesed with Warhammer Fantasy and seeing what I want to see

Mephiles now has Shadow’s essence and has given Shadow a capacity to remember him.
If Classic Ivo Robotnik and Eggman can escape from the void then so too can Mephiles and Iblis.
Fortunately Iblis is too impure to merge with Mephiles although I’m sure Mephiles can grab past Iblis and past Mephiles and merge them together in which case they will shred the awful storyline of Sonic’s own adventure in Sonic 06 completely
Mephiles and Iblis’s story and beef with Shadow and Silver was the only good parts of Sonic 06: Sonic’s part of the story was so bad it’s good it was erased completely from the Timeline(and thanks to Solaris is being shredded from the Timeline’s Recycle Bin) and isn’t coming back!
Einherjar are a real myth. They’re only robotic because odyn and other titans are robotic.

Man, TWW is fun but I haven’t actually logged in for awhile due to life obligations and other games, and now I’m way behind. Boo.

When I was a kid I loved the judgement set and the idea of crusading paladins.
But now I just look at it as a cool looking set but I don’t think the concept really appeals to me anymore.

It is nice that the ‘get “all” armor / weapon types from quest rewards regardless of class’ applied to removed vanilla quests as well.
As evidenced by my “new” bucket for a helm.
The “” around all is due to a bug where sometimes it does not count. For example I a lot of TWW quests are not giving me the leather or mail rewards.
Taivan and Dot and Dolly were at the 20 yr celebration for WoW. I am happy now! Yay!

Haven’t gotten much of a chance yet to do the anniversary stuff, the Silent Hill 2 remake has me LOCKED IN.
However, the re-vamped Tier 2 sets look awesome! Can’t wait to get the Druid and Priest ones. They’re both some of my favourites for their respective classes so it’s really cool to see them with modern textures. I hope they do that for other iconic tier in the future.
I did the mount activity this morning which is a cute idea but I must’ve been hit with the RNG nightmare because the NPC summoned the black qiraji battle tank TWICE along with some other super rare farms so I didn’t get too far.
Do they come in off colors? I use the purple Judgement and Tier 1 set on my DK. She’s supposed to be a Gen 2 fallen Paladin type so it works pretty well.
They’re high def versions of the original vanilla sets. Not the recolors from TBC dungeons
I think I will farm for Evoker and DH only. the shaman one looks bad on everyone who is not an orc.
Sadly just the original tier colour ways like Kare mentioned. Would be awesome if they did them in the BC colours someday as well though.
Yeah it’s pretty niche, I’ll grab it for completionists sake and some of the individual pieces will be good to mix and match but the full set is super Orc coded.
Which make senses as Shamans were a Orc only thing in Vanilla. Alliance didn’t get shamans until TBC with the Draenei
Well… Orcs, Troll and Tauren, yep. It can sorta fit Tauren, but wolves aren’t exactly a Troll motif. I think minus the shoulders it can work for most Horde characters, the belt feels odd to wear as an Alliance Shaman since it’s just a gigantic Horde emblem, lmao.
It does make sense given the context of the time it was designed though.
I don’t have too much interest in the Priest set. The Nemesis set looks great but I’ve not played lock in awhile. Shame there’s no off colors as judgement looks solid on the undead model.
I remember when I wanted that Rogue set more than my next breath but honestly they’ve done more interesting ones since then. Might get that for old time’s sake though.
Yeah, the Priest set is kinda niche too in a way. It definitely favors the ‘holier’ more Alliance themes of Priest than it does Horde-side (Which is kinda the case with a majority of Priest sets tbh)
It looks great on a Draenei but most things look great on a 7ft space lady with primo donkadonk.
So, I decided to replace my pvp gear. Even though I;m probably late in the season with it, but LFR Nerubar Palace has been fun. So have the timewalking classic dungeons.
I’ll probably keep doing them until gear. Even if its once a week from the vault
