I have been pondering making an earthen shaman. Some of it will depend on what classes Dracthyr get. I am a sucker for constructs-learning-to-people, so between them and earthen I am happy.
I would make an earthen, but I been procrastinating on making a dark iron hunter for too long now. Contemplating a dracthyr too if they get hunters
Unsurprisingly the Nerubians have been my favorite and they have just some delightful local quests as well.
Most of the Earthen Iāve run across have been delightful. I did all the side quests in Dorn first, on to the main story questline now(on chapter 2 atm).
Only one that annoys me is Baelgrimm, but the rest? Chefs kiss Delightful. I canāt wait to get to Hallowfall and Azjākahet to see how those groups are
Man, its been so long since I made myself a big stiff drink and just chilled and played wow for hours
feelsgood
This is the smoothest I have ever seen them weave zones together. It actually isā¦ coherent? A pretty good story?
Itās like whatever they were on when they did the Blue flight story for DF Microsoft just dropped a truck load off and told them to have at it.
Is this legal?
I did the main campaign first which got me up to level 76 and now Iāve been eating up the Spiderland sidequests.
Iāll probably move on to the Arathi next. The Eathern were alright but they get such a prolonged spotlight that Iām in no rush to hurry back to them.
I really like that when you interact with the mage quest in Hallowfall it provides extra dialog options for mages, questioning him on his theories. Little bits of effort in adding immersion like that are the best.
I moved beyond Dorn.
Eventually.
I have a day or two off coming up, so if proper puppy care allows, I may get Gurda to 70. Or not.
After much reflection, my tentative plan for BIG FOUR is dwarf monk, night elf druid, Horde earthen warrior, Horde dracthyr evoker.
But Iām open to change as impulse dictates, not least of all because the current PLAN leaves me troll-less, which feels wrong. I do need two Alliance and two Horde, at least one healer and the rest tanks who can also PvP dps. Tauren shaman may replace the evoker, but I generally prefer not to play my girls as healers (because Iām old and still reacting to the 90s/ early 2000s that women are ranged or heals).
Whatever. Itās early on. But I have really enjoyed things so far.
Iām so bored but I also canāt find anything to hold my interest. I hate being so incurious about most things and I wish I could force myself to change, but it leaves me feeling, I dunno, defective or something.
Yeah, I like stuff like this, except it makes me regret not paying attention.
Like oh shoot, my Rogue got called something different than my Pally did? I didnāt even pay attention at what they called my Warlock?
I just completed this Mourning Rise chain and how dare they attack me in the feels this way.
I was unprepared to be hit in the feels on that quest. STAHP MAKING ME CRY BLIZZ!
But honestly, it was a really touching quest and also well done
I feel like the people who did the Veritistrasz quests in Dragonflight worked on this one also.
Finishing the Isle of Dorn Zoneās Main Leveling Questlines has revealed interesting info:
The Core of Azeroth is being dug up beneath Dornogal with the available Zones simply being the result of Ringing Deeps being opened up first!
The World Tree we canāt accessā¦ The Core of Azeroth being dug openā¦ And Goblin and Ethereal Raidsā¦
Soā¦ Which of the 2 Zones(World Tree and Core of Azeroth) will be Goblins and which will be Ethereals?..
As for order in which the Zones appear: Core of Azeroth first followed by World Tree.
The World Tree is close to Beledar thus any Void God inside it under the waves that Alleria refuses to consume to defeat the Prophecy of her becoming a greater threat upon consuming a God under the waves(seemingly connected to the Prophecy of her kneeling to NāZoth when infact thatās a lie) will be sent to the Void setting up Midnight and logistically that fight will only happen after the Core of Azeroth is saved as it is logically the final backup of the Void for War Within!
Warcraft has a way of putting ideas together in a blender, with decidedly mixed results.
The Demonic appearing race of Draenei being steeped in Holy stuff. The Elves and Orcs and Trolls together.
But then we have an expac like BfA, where so many different things were threaded together (Zuldazar/Kultiras, Mechagon, Nazjatar, Nyalotha) with a Faction Conflict in between.
It would stand to reason that the Goblins destroying a Tree with other Goblins trying to stop them would be the way to go - but then we could have the Goblins be the ones digging to the core.
The Ethereals I would think would be in the core zone, with a possible portal to Karesh linking us to that world by the time the zone content is done.
So Iām going to wait a bit but thereās a questline in Azj Kahet I want to praise for being full horror. That was a genuinely unpleasant questline that I entered into alone. I was so relieved to see other players and even then it ends with just defeat and rot. Like I made the mistake of playing that at lunch time and my appetite was gone after that.
Mechanical brilliance to it though as I was just constantly craning my camera to look up. Because the mfers just drop on you and itās so easy to aggro so many of them.
I seriously got alot of catching up to do on my main before I even set foot into the new continent. Some quests I need to finish up to save space, bag space, and etc.
<.> I wish customer support for WoW was more useful than what felt like an AI telling me āSucks to be youā.
ā¦sigh.
For people who didnāt pay for early access we have to wait till 6pm est. Thatās bullshā
