Ah, your link went to the post above that for reasons.
So, to address the only parts that I shall address:
Ren. I’m Middle Eastern. Syrian specifically, not Indian. And as everyone here knows, if I want to share my feelings about someone, I am very comfortable doing so. Speaking up for myself has never been my weak spot.
Similarly, if I say I’m not gonna be doing this, then I am as unmoving as a mountain from my stance.
Man there is nothing like taking a hard look at Warcraft’s timeline and how you might fix it 's lack of self-consistency to make you realize how easy it is to make the entire thing fall apart.
Things held together with bailing wire and duct tape.
I am pretty sure the worst offender is their treatment of religion and how that impacts a culture. I am pretty sure I can fit the salient facts for most Azerothian cultures as we know them on a 3 x 5 index card.
Could have a spicy dynamic between pre-Light Human religions, which Harvest Witches and Thornspeakers continue to an extent, Vrykul Runes, maybe some Odyn/Helya worship, and the Church of Light
I was like, how long until the peace shatters and broadsides are launched.
I mean, it is one of those situations where you consider the source. You know the source lies more naturally than it breathes.
I also think most of the frequent posters around here are aware, and newer posters find out for themselves soon enough. We have seen the reveal - and the subsequent reroll to a new forum Alt- enough times.
I can understand that. Like when Ren lied and said you were banned, I believed it, just because… why not? Who would randomly throw out lies like that? Oh yeah… that’s who.
And then you came and corrected the lies and said you weren’t banned.
That does sound like a very “Ren” type of dagger in the dark tactic - bringing up the “supposed feelings” of someone who wasn’t even posting at the time.
