Also the Orcs are still cribbing off the Warhammer aesthetic and are thusly completely delightful;
Aesthetics are everything. Hell I still feel nervous admitting I’m German in mixed company as people start making weird assumptions when you celebrate that lineage. Meanwhile nobody’s got a problem with the Brits, especially the cockney ones. And like… well open a history book.
That was also my bewilderment at Blizz deciding to tackle an all to relevant to their company highly sensitive topic through the medium of dragons. And as is probably well recorded my reaction was dumbfounded confusion because THIS IS WC2;
Christ remember when fantasy was fun and didn’t necessitate complicated conversations about colonialism and patriarchy?
God is Twitter yet?

God I love this show.
I’d wanted to include Malithrac in Mordracca’s story as genuinely just a fountain of Orcish history. Because they are 1/3 a Shadowmoon Orc from the Prime Universe. With another 1/3 being a damn Eredar and the other being a nerdy Dalaranian Wizard who’s body became a crowded apartment thanks to his insistence to write a book about these bizarre happenings in the kingdom of Stormwind during what would become known as the first war.
So I’ve wanted her somewhat estranged, loving but confused father character to awkwardly invade her life. But does fund it and does his best to help but WTF does a magic corpse have to tell a living half orc? Especially when he’s mentally arrested in his mid 20s.
So having Malithrac being his rival influence was an idea I was toying with and god damn this is precisely the vibe I was looking for;
Ben even wears black, red and gold when not affiliated anything. Which is a reference to the WW1 German flag but w/e.

Baldur’s Gate 3 only interests me in how it shakes up the Planescape setting.
Planescape has the furthest reaching influence on Fiction though if said influence had been permitted it’s full potential(Star Wars KotOR 2 not cutting out the Kreia is Traya’s Practical Incarnation split off from her alongside Atris Traya’s Paranoid Incarnation Plot Line for time) it may have influenced Fiction on a wider scale.
Since Kreia would have been spared the fate of Darth Traya(whose desire to destroy the Force is represented by casting out her Paranoia Atris and Pragmatism Kreia) she logistically would have continued to exist in the Star Wars Universe and be seen as a representation of Pragmatism. Considering Thrawn was Canonized and Rian Johnson cites KotOR 2 as his inspiration for The Last Jedi the two split off beings embodying traits that Traya discarded for emotional zeal would have probably been included.
It might have been that Atris instead of Luke would have been the one to draw a Lightsaber on Ben Solo causing Luke to go into exile over inviting her over in the first place and cut himself off from the Force. Kreia would take the Black-Eyed Hag in Black Robes form while chastising Luke and be the one to state skepticism over Rey saving Ben to Rey’s face.
Of course if the Uncut version of KotOR 2 were to ever be released than The Last Jedi Special Edition might make that a reality causing Memes of “Avellone to the rescue!” to show up on the internet.
Kreia being inserted into scenes(with new scenes being added as well) alongside Atris would be funny with Fans stating they are glad that the being they were cast out from Darth Traya didn’t come back from the dead like Sidious did. Any flashbacks of Darth Traya would naturally see her as originally envisioned I.E. Atris in her Black Robe not Kreia in her Black Robe who would simply just be Kreia in the present speaking nothing but pragmatism and being taken as gospel by Fans.
Neat. To me, your Dragonborn cleric of Bahamut sounds the most interesting.
My current Baldurs Gate 3 characters are:
- Human Vengeance Paladin (Main character)
- Mephistopheles Tiefling Cleric of Lathander
- Asmodeus Tiefling Sorcerer
- High Elf Evocation Wizard
- Lolth-sworn Drow Druid (Dark Urge)
Golden Dragonborn surley looks the best for the view alone. I am at odds with metallic skin usually.
We never got to the droid factory or aided a new gas deal for the republic like GOTO wanted.
lol, wasn’t expecting this…

I admit to a healthy infatuation with the Sisters.
Because they’re the ones who usually just rescue my beloved guardsmen. The space Marines can. But unless they’re Salamanders there’s a 50/50 chance they’ll massacare you for sport.
And also yeah. Few things more atrractive than a warrior woman imho.

Side not can we talk about the unparalleled voice acting of the DoW series?
It’s been over a decade but I still mutter
“MEHTAL BOHXEZ!!!” to myself anytime I’m annoyed with traffic. To say nothing of the beloved SPHESS MEHREENS;

I tend to favor them as well or at least the concept of unenhanced warrior women kicking as much or more demon scum as the "super"humans known as Astartes.
Rough, short story inspired by the above quote
An athletic woman works out breaking in a weight bag as a dreamer watches their own workout forgotten. “Why do I feel like you are envying the bag?”
“Because it’s getting all of her attention…” the dreamer said only to blush at the admission.
“She will break you and not break a sweat.”
“Yeah…”
“… friend. Can I have your stuff when she kills you?”
“What?” Dreamer asked looking back at their partner. “F off, Bucket.”
“Worth a shot.” Bucket said laughing. “50cb’s says you don’t have the spine to ask out the demon.”
“Wait… She’s Demon?”
“You didn’t know?” Bucket blinked a few times. “… I thought you knew. I thought that was why you were an idiot in that last training session.”
“Like I could tell. Besides you were looking at Swerve in full gear…”
Bucket growled and got low and in Dreamer’s face. “You promised not to bring that up.” they said in a harsh whisper.
“You two done with that?” asked a voice that sent Dreamer’s heart racing. “Or do I need to give you two more personal time?” Demon asked.
“Nope, we’re done.” Bucket said jumping back and staying well out of reach.
Dreamer stood slower. “Demon right?” they asked getting a smirk from the taller and frankly more imposing figure before them. “You doing anything after this block?”
Bucket’s eyes went wide and they backed up yet further as if hoping to avoid the blood bath. Demon’s slight smile faded into a dead eyed star that sent a thrill through Dreamer’s body and sent their heart racing. “Was that an attempt to ask me out?”
“And if it was?”
“I jog to a small mom and pop place just outside the gates after a session. If you can keep up, you can join me.”
“Terms accepted.” Dreamer said barely able to tell if they were smiling or grimicing.
“Now how about you for spot me. Your friend seems to have fled.”
Dreamer looked over to see Bucket heading to another set of machines where more members of the unit, including Swerve, were working through their own routines.
“You know you can’t keep up right?” Demon asked as they began pushing the metal bar.
“Probably true. You’re worth the effort though.” Dreamer said getting a smile from Demon that suggested just maybe he did have a chance.

Think I’m going to need more context on the short story. Granted I’m exhausted and just took sleeping pills and will try it again tomorrow.
So I’m probably not the best to judge much of anything right now lol
Side bar though if you’re interested in 40k lore read “The Infinite & The Divine”. It’s hilarious. Like intentionally so it’s about two necrons, essentially an immortal museum curator and fortune teller made to work together.
Trazyn is just goals. If made an immortal automaton I’d to focus on building a gigantic museum that I know nobody’s going to care about but somebody has to chronicle this ish.

It’s very rough, I usually use stuff like this as a thread bare skeleton to just explore very basic concepts.
Dreamer, Bucket and Demon are “soldiers” in an unspecified military engaged in a scheduled workout session. Dreamer, bucket, swerve and demon are just “nicknames” / “call signs”.
I should be sleeping as well… just mind racing so sleep not engaging… or is it brain not disengaging?
I have DnD on Mondays and the sessions tend to leave me a bit wired…
Just as qualified as any of us.

Same problem. January was one of my worst in my career in terms of pay. So I’ve been working non-stop. And as of just this week learned one of my closest friends has a terrible disease and the sugar on the cream is somebody stabbed my tire.
Can’t even imagine who. Hoping it was just a random act of delinquent vandalism and nobody has it out for me.
But I did crush it this month and got my car repaired so get to return to my bed tomorrow night after a five days on a couch. And will get a full three days off come Friday.
That I’ll probably just use to sleep at this point tbh lol

Imothek is the true Necron leader.
The Sisters of Battle are awesome. They’re the only imperium faction I love. Something about a bunch of badass warrior women weilding bolter guns does something
