Well I’ve certainly missed the boat on remaining celibate so I’m not too worried.

If people who are involuntarily celibate are incels, does that mean people who voluntarily fornicate would be vofos?

I suppose so. One way to think about it

I am starting to see why Stormsong was everybody’s least favorite. My main problem is it’s terrible at telling you what’s a critical path questline.

Which is problematic here as it’s kinda one big non sequitur. The Horde seems like they’re going to be the throughline antagonist then sorta leave as abruptly as they arrived. And then helping a farmer shoot quilboar is critical path main storyline stuff. But the one about homicidal honey and giant bumblebees isn’t?

Well excuse me for thinking the weird never before seen story idea was more important than retreading a plotline from both versions of The Barrens but with surly Bristol dockworkers. Maybe the pigmen are a little more interesting if you tend to main Alliance but I’ve sorted more bacon out than a Hormel factory worker at this point.

I am a nerd for British History. I can be a basic that way. I remember since I was a young lad, when I read about William the Conqueror, and his claim to England, and the Battle of Hastings. And then watching Braveheart as a kid really made me even more interested in the British Isles. Arthurian tales. Shakespeare. Tolkien. The Beatles. There is a lot to enjoy.

So, I have a modicum of respect for their traditions. And she seemed like a good woman.

My question is when’s that Arthur dude supposed to pull up from wherever the hell Avalon is.

He was the once and future king so - when’s he turning back up? Do the British have like protocols in place or could any dude strong enough to yank a sword out’ve some concrete just assume command?

Ya know I’m starting to think strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government.

Only someone who was never gifted a sword by a pond woman would say such things.

Man why does MM Hunter have to be so mid in everything but BGs and WPvP? Because man when you are in the zone with one of em it just feels like;

Ah yes the Medieval Fantasy world…

Medieval Fantasy is a Mythology featuring no Elves but just Kings, Knights, Wizards and Dragons…

The only Dwarves are the sort met by Snow White.

Arthur’s tales are of course just Knights, Wizards, Enchantresses and Kings.

The Knights of the Round Table, The Black Knights, The Green Knights, the Lady of the Lake, Merlin and King Arthur are of the Mythology known as Arthurian Legend.

The Lady of the Lake gave Arthur Excalibur because he broke the Sword in the Stone fighting the Black Knight.

For normal Medieval Myth we have Witches, Dwarves, Kings, Queens, Princes, Princesses, Stepmothers, Stepsisters and little else.

Little Mermaid for what it’s worth is based off of the Novel Undine but with Hans Anderson having the Little Mermaid be given a method of obtaining a Soul without marrying Humans via introducing the Daughters of the Air.

In otherwords Little Mermaid is not part of Medieval Myth.

Can’t say I’ve gotten thrown a scimitar by some moistened blint but I’ve been given strange and unusual gifts by a witch of the woods.

And by wood I mean a 7/11 parking lot but it was in sight of some tree’s so I figure that counts.

Hope Queen goes to heaven. She was the best.

There’s an Ogre Mage in Vash’jir who is named after the biblical Nephilim, for some reason.

https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Neph%27Lahim

Nephilim include Repha and his Sons the Rephaim which include Goliath.

They regularly reach 6-Feet Tall despite looking like ordinary Humans who only rarely reach such heights.

Nephilim by definition are Half-Angel.

Succubi/Incubi descended from Lilith(said to be the first Human Woman who refused to be underneath Adam in Hebrew Folklore) or Naamah(Tubal-Cain’s Human Sister) are either Human or Nephilim by definition depending on which Succubi/Incubi Family is descended from their Demon Consorts or from their Human Consorts.

Succubi/Incubi not descended from either of the two are just Satan in disguise and thus actual Demons(technically Demon since it’s just one) by definition.

since when could cross faction understand eachother? a void elf just said hello to me in Thalassian. That’s a neat new feature.

It makes sense the Velves would also speak Thalassian. The Forsaken could speak common back in beta but they removed that. You’d figure the Belves could speak it as well.

Currently they’ve the potion of tongues you can nab from Legion Dalaran sewers that allowe you to understand Orcish / Common for 30 minutes.

This seems like the ideal solution as the main reason the language barrier was thrown up was because of griefing and harassment. So it being an optional buff you can remove at anytime makes sense.

It doesn’t come up in lore too much. You’ll occasionally see a language barrier be an obstacle in quests but otherwise when two characters need to speak they can without incident.
